Beer Review: Stone Imperial Stout

Very dark in color, perhaps darker than any beer I have ever seen, actually. This ebon brew boasted a medium-to-heavy body with a rich aroma. No real coffee or roasted notes were detected. Smooth, with a slight aftertaste, this was, all-in-all, not really what I had expected from this highly-touted stout. Only an okay beer. -- Brewmeister G
