Beer Review: Tupper's Hop Pocket Ale
Designed by several area figures prominent in the local beer world, this ale is brewed by OD and is widely available throughout the area. A gold medal winner in the American-Style Pale Ale category at the 1997 Great American Beer Festival, there was a nice medium level of hoppiness to this beer. Closer to medium than light in both color and body, there was nearly a 'crispness' to this offering -- a feature I've usually only found in lighter beers (lagers, etc). This was a good, solid beer with a lot to offer. -- Brewmeister G

Medium-to-light in color, this brew greeted my nose with a bit of hops on the aroma. Medium in body, hops were present in a nice amount on the taste as well. There was a nice 'edge' at the end, thanks to this hoppiness, making for a very nice, well-put-together brew. -- Brewmeister G
