Awards From The Desk Of Erin McDuff

Admit it- we all love getting praise and appreciation for things we work hard on. On the Interne this praise comes in the form of online site awards. Almost every type of website sbject out there has an award for it. Almost because up until now there was no award (to my knowledge) for those hard working folks out there that type away the hours on Law&Order for our (the L&O fans) surfing pleasure.

Now there are awards for those poor, under-appreciated souls- one for general Law&Order fan sites and the other for sites dedicated to my man, Sam Waterston. Yes, my fellow web masters- you can now get the ego boost you all greatly deserve. Just apply for the award that best represents your site and recieve my and everyone else's praise- that is if your site is good enough.

GUIDELINES FOR APPLYING FOR AWARDS

If you are applying for the general 'Law&Order' website award your site must-

1. have SOMETHING to do with Law&Order

2. not be offensive (by my standards)

3. not have pornographic material on it

They're simple guidelines to follow, but I gurantee that if your site doesn't comply with even one of them, it will NOT be awarded this award.

If I decide that your site is deserving of the general Law&Order site award, I will E-Mail you telling you that you have won and I will also send an award graphic that you can pt up on your site for all the Internet to see. The graphic will look like the graphic below, just without the word 'SAMPLE' on it.

The background picture of this award is very special- it has the World Trade Center in the background. This award is dedicated to the victims and heros of the September 11th terrorist attacks, especially the members of the New York City Fire Department, the New York City Police Department, the Port Authority Police, and emergency management persons. We will never forget you or your brave deeds. God Bless America.

If you are applying for 'The Sammy Award' your website must-

1. have to do with Sam Waterston

2. not be offensive (by my standards)

3. not contain pornographic material

If your site is deemed worthy of my award I will E-Mail you telling you that you've won and send you an award graphic to put on your website. The award will look like the graphic below, except without the word 'SAMPLE' on it.

That's everything you need to know if you wish to submit your site for one of my awards. Just E-Mail your website's address to SisterElwood@aol.com and I will review your site and I will determine if it is worthy of one of my awards. Please specify which award you are applying for in your E-Mail.

Most sites are great in their own way. I am not trying to hurt anyone's feelings here but only trying to help surfers find the best sites out there related to Law&Order and Sam Waterston. You'll win the award if your site shows that some thought and time was put into creating it. As long as your site doesn't stink beyond belief or is just all links, you'll probably win. You'll know within a week if you won or not. If I don't contact you, then you didn't win. Sorry.:(
