Popcorn Santa
Have the children glue together, on construction paper, a white circle and a red triangle.  Have the children put a face on their Santa, then glue on popcorn for Santa's beard and hat.

Here is old Santa,  (hold up right thumb)
Here is his sleigh,   (hold up left thumb)
Here are the reindeer which he drives away. (hold up eight fingers)

Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen.  (put one finger down as each name is called)
Away they go!!  (Put thumbs together and soar off into the air!)

When Santa comes down the chimney, (downward motion with hands)
I should like to peek. (peek through fingers)

Until I'm fast asleep. (palms together beside head)

   (Sung to the tune of "Are you Sleeping?")

Where is Santa? (hands behind back)

Here I am!  (arms out front, making belly shape!)
Here I am!  (keep arms up through the rest of the song!)
