The Dragonball AdventurePrologue: On summer while on vacation Bulma Briefs found a dragonball in her basement. She soon learned the legend of the dragonballs and created a radar to detect them. It didn't take her long to find another. She got together her dinocaps and set off to find the rest. One day while out fishing Goku was attacked by a monster that wanted his fish. The monster was actually Bulma's car. She got out and explained this to Goku. She told him she was looking for a dragonball and asked him if he knew where one was. Goku didn't know what she was talking about so she showed him one of her dragonballs. He recognized it and brought her to his. His dragonball started glowing and Goku thought the dragonball was trying to talk. Bulma showed him that the dragonball was glowing because it was close to hers. Goku wouldn't part with his dragonball, so Bulma convinced him to travel with her. While they were heading in the direction of the next dragonball, Shou and Mei brought Emperor Pilaf a dragonball. They explained to him that he needed all seven dragonballs to have his wish granted. That night Goku and Bulma camped out in her capsule house. She introduced him to modern conveniences and also made him bathe. He didn't know how so she had to help him. After his bath she decided to take one. Goku came in to help her because he figured she wouldn't be able to wash her back since she didn't have a tail. She kicked him out of the bathroom. Starving, Goku went outside to hunt for dinner. Meanwhile at Pilaf's castle, Mei returned from her scouting mission and reported that a glowing light, similiar to that of a dragonball, was spotted in Death Valley. Pilaf sends Shou and Mei out to investigate. Goku spots their ship flying over Death Valley and thinks it's a giant bird. He chases after it. The ship crashes near him and he races toward it. He is not the only one to spot the ship. A pack of wolves also see it and thinking it's a bird they head towards it aswell. They both get to the ship ruins and fight over the "bird." Goku beats the wolves up but realizes that the bird isn't eatable so he takes home instead a wolf. Mei realizes the light she saw was the glowing of the wolves' eyes. The next morning a turtle appears at Bulma's capsule house asking for salt water. After Bulma gives him some, he asks them if the could help him find the ocean. Bulma points him in the right direction. Confused the turtle asks for help to get there. Goku hoists the turtle on his back and agrees to carry him, despite Bulma's reasonings that they should leave the turtle behind. On the way to the ocean, they are attack by a giant ogre who wants to eat the turtle for breakfast. Bulma urges Goku to just leave the turtle, so they can return to their mission. Goku decides to help the turtle in distress and fights the ogre. Realizing the turtle is not worth the hassle the ogre leaves to find something else. Goku, and Bulma continue travelling until they finally get to the beach. The turtle asks them to wait while he gets them something for helping him. Bulma decides that waiting is not worth it, but Goku convinces her to stay. After several hours the turtle returns with an old man riding on his shell. The man introduces himself as the turtle hermit. As a reward for helping his turtle, he gives Goku the Nimbus cloud. He explains that the cloud has the power to fly anyone anywhere, but only if they have a good heart. The hermit gets on to demonstrate, but the cloud drops him every time he tries to get on. Goku tries to get on, and is successful. Bulma notices that the necklace worn by the hermit has a dragonball on it. She asks if she can have for helping, but the turtle reveals that she didn't help at all. The hermit agrees to give her the dragonball only if she shows him her belly button. Bulma agrees, knowing that the dragonball is worth it. They turn on their radar and head for the next dragonball. Goku and Bulma's travels soon take them to a village. At first it seems deserted, but Goku is sure he can sense people nearby. Bulma and Goku try to enter one of the houses. As soon as they enter, Goku is attacked. The man apologizes for hurting Goku, but mistakes him for someone named Oolong. Soon the villagers all gather around the house and Bulma decides to ask about Oolong. They describe Oolong as a shape-shifting demon, who steals away all their village's daughters. The villagers ask them why they've come. Bulma explains about their search for the dragonballs. An elderly woman reveals that she is in posession of a dragonball, but will not give it to them. Bulma makes her a deal, promising to rid them of Oolong in exchange for the dragonballs. Goku disguises himself as the village cheif's daughter, Pocahontas. Soon enough, Oolong arrives. He quickly realizes that he has been deceived, and challenges Goku to fight. Strangely, Oolong keeps trying to talk Goku out fighting, and then unexpectedly, makes a hasty exit out of town. Goku chases after Oolong, but later returns unable to find him. Oolong soon returns in aa even more powerful form; but again, he concentrates more on scaring Goku rather than attacking him. Realizing that Goku will not back down, Oolong transforms into a bird and flies away. Bulma yells at Goku telling him not to let Oolong fly away. Goku calls the Nimbus Cloud and pursues Oolong. Goku catches up to Oolong, who transforms into a rocket, luckily the Nimbus cloud is able to keep up. After several minutes, Oolong runs out of fuel and transforms into a pig. Goku catches Oolong, and returns him to the village. The villagers force Oolong to return their daughters. Oolong takes them a place where the girls are all lounging. Oolong explains that he kidnapped the girls to clean his palace, but the girls became to comfy living with him and got lazy. He begs them to take their daughters back, and apologizes for the trouble he caused. Bulma agrees to take Oolong off the villagers hands, and the elderly woman gives Bulma a dragonball as promised. Bulma decides that Oolong's shape-shifting abilities will come in handy on their adventure, so she takes him with them. Bulma takes a look at the dragon radar, and calculates that they're next destination is Fire Mountain. Recalling the terrible legends he had heard of the Ox-King, who lives in a castle on Fire Mountain, Oolong decides to make a get-away. He turns into a fish and dives into the lake, Goku quickly follows him. Goku soon after returns to the boat unable to find Oolong. Bulma explains that sometimes you have to do a little planning. She casts out a fishing rod using money as bait. Her trap works and they haul Oolong out of the water. Bulma explains to Oolong that he's stuck with them like it or not. Bulma gives Oolong a pill designed specially to boost his immune system. Once they get to shore, Oolong tries a second time to escape. Instead of helping Goku, Bulma simply yells out "Piggy." The search for Oolong becomes much easier, as they find him taking a dump in the bushes. Bulma explains that the pill she gave him earlier will make him need to use the bathroom everytime she yells Piggy. Goku suddenly turns on Bulma, calling her an evil witch. Bulma regains Goku's confidence by explaining that she used science, not witchcraft, to make the pill. With Oolong's cooperation they continue their search for the sixth dragonball. The group's travels take them to a barren desert. Oolong urges them to detour. He tells them the legends of the rogue bandit, Yamcha, who steals from all travellers passing through the desert. Bulma tells Oolong that Goku can handle Yamcha and continues. After journeying for several hours, Bulma becomes so tired that she cannot continue. She decides that they'll stop so she can nap, leaving them to stand watch. Not to long after, Yamcha arrives demanding all their money and dino-caps. Oolong recognizes Yamcha's accomplice as Puar, a fellow classmate of his in shape-shifting school. Oolong coaches Goku to fight Yamcha. At first, Goku is able to hold his own. Soon, Goku's hunger becomes too much, and Yamcha is able to finsih him using the wolf fang fist technique. Just then, Bulma awakes from her nap and catches a glimpse of Yamcha. The bandit suddenly freezes up, then flees. The group settles for the night in Oolong's RV. After a bath, Bulma orders Oolong for a fresh pair of clothes. Oolong explains to her that he doesn't have any women's clothing, so she leaves him her clothers and orders them cleaned. Meanwhile at his palace, Pilaf concocts a plan to get rid of Goku and his friends for good. He gives Shou and Mei a bomb to plant on them, so that it blows up while they sleep. Back at the RV, Goku tells Oolong about the dragonballs. Oolong gets greedy and decides to steal Bulma and Goku's dragonballs and run. He pours Goku a glass of knockout juice and heads upstairs to find the dragonballs. Yamcha and Puar, who had overheard everything, also decide to steal the dragonballs. They enter the RV and find Goku sleeping on the floor. Yamcha has Puar disguise herself as Goku and head upstairs to lead his companions outside. Oolong hears somebody heading up the stairs and sees Goku coming. He disguises himself as Bulma. Puar leads unwittingly leads Oolong outside. She takes him to the into the desert and reveals her true form. Oolong gets angry and reveals his true form. Puar suddenly realizes that Bulma is still inside, when Yamcha's shrill scream sounds through the night air. The two shapeshifters hurry back to the RV. Yamcha and Puar leave and Oolong stands watch the night for anymore trouble. The next morning Bulma is angry to find her clothes are still dirty. Oolong explains that he didn't have time and gives her a bunny outfit he remembers that he had. Yamcha arrives with a gun demanding the dragonballs. Goku is confident he can defeat Ymacha now that he isn't hungry. Goku beats up Yamcha, so he and Puar retreat. Oolongs RV was totalled during the battle so Goku and his friends decide to travel by foot. Yamcha arrives again and apoligizes for bothering them. He gives them a new car to make up for the trouble and leaves. Once out of sight he hops in his car and turns on the tracking device he implanted in the car he gave to Goku. He and Puar decide to track them and steal their dragonballs once they've collected all seven. Goku and his friends finally arrive at Fire Mountain. There they meet the giant Ox King who attacks them. Goku defends his friends, using his power pole in the midst of the fight. Ox-King recognizes it and realizes that Goku is the grandson of his old friend Gohan. He stops attacking and asks Goku for a favour. Bulma asks Ox-King about the dragonball on top of his mountain. Ox-King tells Goku to find his daughter Chi Chi and take her with him to find Master Roshi. Master Roshi has a magic fan capable of putting out the fire. Goku hops on the nimbus cloud and sets off. He finds Chi Chi and heads for Roshi's Island. When they arrive, Goku recognizes Roshi; the hermit who gave them a dragonball for helping his turtle. Goku and Chi Chi explain the predicament at Fire Mountain and ask Roshi for the Bansho fan, but Roshi remembers that he took it to the cleaners. Roshi then announces that he can put the flames out himself and follows them back to Fire Mountain. When there he makes Ox-King repent all his recent misdeeds before helping.Next Roshi hoists himself on a nearby wall then takes of his shirt, revealing his frail bony body. He starts to focus his energy and his muscles begin to bulk up. An energy soon forms around him concentrating around his hands. He cups them and pulls them back preparing to perform his Kamehameha wave. Overestimating his power, Roshi's energy wave destroys the mountain. Roshi apologizes destroying the mountain, but Ox-King is just happy to have the flames out. Using the dragon radar Bulma and Oolong find the dragonball amongst the rubble. Ox-King reveals to Roshi that Goku is Gohan's grandson. Roshi is impressed in Goku and offers to train him in the Kamesennin style of Martial Arts. Goku promises to come back after his adventure. While waitin for Bulma and Oolong he decides to try a kamehameha wave. He manages to create one, but is disappointed because it is not nearly as strong as Roshi's. Unfortunately his target is their cruiser, and he and his friends are left without a ride. Ox-King gives them one of his cars to continue their adventure. The Gang decides to make a pit stop at a town on the way. When they get there, the townspeople all seem to be afraid of them. Bulma is able to get a new outfit, and thousands of zenni worth of dino caps for free. After Bulma buy's ner new outfit noone seems to be scared of her anymore. Two gangsters wearing rabbit ears begin to terrorize local shopkeepers. They take a break from the mayhem to ask Bulma on a date. Bulma rudely declines, which angers them. They try to hurt Bulma, but Goku beats them up. They flee, threatening to return with their Boss. They return with their leader, who introduces himself as Boss Rabbit. Strangely, he apologizes to Bulma for his men harrassing her. Boss Rabbit extends his hand for a friendly handshake. Bulma declines it and slaps his hand away. Suddenly Boss Rabbit begins to smirk, as Bulma transforms into a carrot. Goku realizes that Boss Rabbit is a Warlock. Oolong flees with the car, leaving Goku all alone. Yamcha suddenly appears offering to help. He has Puar transform into a bird and steal Bulma away from Boss rabbit. While fleeing she accidently crashes into a giant Mushroom. Carrot-Bulma descends from the sky, with Yamcha, Boss Rabbit, and Goku anticipate her landing. They all jump up to catch her, Yamcha tells Goku that he can't let Boss Rabbit touch him or he will turn into a carrot as well. Goku uses his power poll to knock away Boss Rabbit, and snag Bulma. Then Puar transforms into Boss Rabbit to scare him into surrendering. They force Boss Rabbit into changing Bulma back into a human. Goku then ties him and his henchmen up, and then uses his power poll to transport them to the moon. He promises to let them come back down in a year, if they make treats for all the good boys and girls. Oolong conveniently returns with the car; Yamcha and Puar have left. The search for the last dragonball takes them along a winding desert road. They are soon attacked by a large robot. They awake inside a stone prison with Yamcha and Puar. A Moniter appears on the screen and their captor reveals himself: Emperor Pilaf. Goku attacks the screen, but Bulma explains to him that, they are just looking at an image of Pilaf. Pilaf thanks them for collecting the dragonballs for him, and leaves them their to die. Checking over the balls Pilaf realizes that he only has six. Mei suggests that maybe one of their prisoners has a dragonball on them. They gas Goku and friends then inspect each of them for dragonballs. Bulma orders Oolong to help her. Oolong and Puar are too late to stop Pilaf from summoning the eternal dragon, but with some quick thinking Oolong makes a wish for really comfortable underpants before Pilaf can make a wish. Pilaf is angered by Oolongs actions. He places Oolong, Puar, and the others in a steal prison with a super thick glass roof. Pilaf explains to them that they won't be breaking out of this prison, and that when the sun rises they will be cooked alive by its amplified rays. He gets so big that he destroys the prison and begins to go on a rampage. Goku's friends flee the prison. Pilaf awakes in the middle of the night to find his palace being destroyed by a giant beast. Yamcha remembers once seeing Goku paralysed, because Chi Chi accidently grabbed his tail. He reveals to the others that Goku's weakness is his tail. They all jump on his tail and try to squish it, but it is too thick. Yamcha orders Puar to transform into a giant pair of scissors, and cut off Goku's tail. It works. Goku returns to a normal state with no memory of his rampage. Goku's clothes were destroyed after his transformation. So they give him Oolong's trousers. Goku goes back to the palace to find his power poll. His friends decide not to tell him about his transformation, or explain why his tail is missing. With the dragonballs gone for another year.
