The Saiyan Saga

Prologue:The saiyans realize that it was Freeza who destroyed their home planet. They decide to plot their revenge but realize that the only people they can really trust to help them defeat Freeza would be others of the saiyan race. Because Radditz, Nappa and Prince Vegeta were the only known survivors of Planet Vegeta's destruction. Finding other saiyan warriors to help fight would be scarce. Then Raddirz remembers that his baby brother Kakorot was sent to the planet Earth along time ago and was never heard from again. He quickly races to the planet Earth to see if his brother is still alive hoping to gain a new recruit in the fight against Freeza.

Goku and his friends hadn't seen each other since the 23rd Tenkachi Boudaikou and decided to have a reunion at Master Roshi's. Goku takes his son Gohan with him to meet his friends. He arrives at Roshi's Island where Bulma, Krillin, Oolong, and Master Roshi were waiting for him. All of a sudden a big strong warrior shows up claiming to be Goku's older brother Radditz. Radditz tells Goku to come with him but Goku declines. He takes Gohan telling Goku that if he wants to see his son again that Goku would join forces with him. Goku calls for the nimbus cloud ready to chase after him. Krillin and Roshi offer to go too, but Goku tells them that this mission is too dangerous for them. Piccolo then shows up offering to help Goku claiming to have a score to settle with Radditz. Using the dragonball radar(Gohan's hat has a dragonball on it) they head after Gohan and Radditz.

Piccolo and Goku find Radditz and begin to fight him. Radditz proves to be to strong for them so the take off thier weighted training clothing. Without their weighted clothes on their combined power levels are stronger than Radditz yet it still isn't enough. Piccolo tells Goku to distract Radditz so that he can gather enogh energy for a new attack he's created. Goku weakens Radditz by grabbing his tail. Radditz pulls an innocent act on Goku to get him to release his tail. Goku falls for it and lets go. Radditz begins to beat up Goku, hearing his father's cries Gohan becomes so enraged that he powers up to a level of about 1 500 and body slams Radditz in the chest. While Radditz is distracted Piccolo fires off his Special Beam Cannon attack. Radditz sees the attack coming and manages to dodge it Goku grabs Radditz and holds him still then tells Piccolo to fire. Piccolo does another blast which kills Goku and Radditz. Before his death Radditz warned Piccolo to beware, and that two more saiyans were coming both stronger than he was.

Krillin and Master Roshi show up seeing Goku and Radditz dead and ask Piccolo whats going on. Piccolo explains to them what happened and then tells Krillin that he's taking Gohan to train him. After seeing what Gohan did to Radditz Piccolo realized that Gohan had a dorment power within him that needed harnessing. Master Roshi tells Krillin to go break the news to Chi Chi and the Ox King. While Piccolo and Gohan train in the wilderness. Krillin, Yamcha, Chaosu, Tien, and Yajirobe receive special training from Kami the Guardian of the Earth. Up in Heaven Goku receives special training from the great King Kai.

A year passes by, and Piccolo, Krillin, Gohan, Chaosu, Tien, and Yamcha all gather and await the arrival of the saiyans. Each one of them with a power level of approx. 1000 each. The saiyans Nappa and Vegeta show up in search of the dragonballs. Seeing that Earth's fighters are far inferior to them they plant the Saibamen and have them fight tournement style. Yamcha goes first and wins but the Saibaman gets back up and wraps it self around Yamcha and then blows itself and Yamcha up. Krillin gets so angry that he releases a powerful energy blast that destroys the rest of the Saibamen. He gives Vegeta and Nappa his most intense blast, but it doesn't even leave a scratch on them. Nappa begins to fight them. Chaosu leeches onto Nappa's back and tries to selfdestruct hoping to take Nappa with him. Nappa survives the blast laughing at their pitiful attemps. Tien becomes so enraged at the loss of his friend that he attacks Nappa all out. Nappa then destroys Tien. Vegeta calls a time out asking them if the one they call Goku is the one known to them as Kakorot. They say yes. Vegeta stops the fighting and gives them three hours to wait for Goku to show up.

Three hours pass and Goku doesn't show up so they resume fighting. They try to get the advantage against Radditz by grabbing his tail but it doesn't seem to work. Vegeta explains that he and Nappa no longer have that weakness. Ready to finish the fight, Nappa fires a fatal energy blast at Gohan. Piccolo sacrifices himself by blocking the blast. Gohan becomes enraged and fires a powerful blast back at Nappa. Nappa deflects it then charges to attack. Nappa tries to crush Gohan with his mighty foot. Gohan disappears. They spot him nearby on a floating cloud. Krillin and Gohan realize that Goku has finally arrived. He gives them each 1/2 a sensu bean. Then powers up to fight Nappa. They begin fighting but Nappa can't even touch Goku. Vegeta tells him to come back. Without Goku to fight Nappa begins to wonder what he can do for fun. He spots Gohan and Krillin and decides to attack them. Goku uses the Kaioken technique to stop Nappa, and tosses him over to Vegeta. Vegeta destroys Nappa for his incompetence. Goku tells Krillin and Gohan to leave so that he and Vegeta can duke it out themselves.

Vegeta and Goku begin to fight. Vegeta tries to destroy Goku with his Gammit Gun energy blast. Goku counters with a Kamehameha wave. Seeing that the Gammit Gun attack is stronger he amplifies his Kamehameha using the a triple Kaioken. His energy blast sends Vegeta off into space. Yajirobe had been nearby and comes out to congratulate Goku and share in the credit. Vegeta returns detirmined to beat Goku. He creates an energy orb that emits moonlight and throws it into the sky. He then transforms into a giant monkey. Goku uses Tien's Solar Flare technique to blind Vegeta and gain some distance from him. He begins to collect energy for his spirit bomb attack. Before he can use it Vegeta grabs him and begins to squeeze the life out of him.

Gohan and Krillin return to the battlefield worried about Goku. They find Vegeta a giant monkey squeezing Goku. They devise a plan to free Goku, but Vegeta overhears it and jumps out of the way. Out of nowhere Yajirobe cuts off Vegeta's tail. Vegeta returns to normal. Angry, he beats up Krillin and Yajirobe. Vegeta and Gohan begin to fight and Vegeta beats Gohan too. Vegeta notices that Gohan's tail has regrown and tries to cut it off before Gohan gets a look at the energy orb. Vegeta arrives to late and Gohan transforms into a giant monkey. While Vegeta's busy with Gohan Goku gives Krillin the energy he gathered for his Spirit Bomb. Vegeta blasts off Gohan's tail, and Gohan returns to normal. Krillin throws the spirit bomb at Vegeta who sees it coming and dodges it. Gohan bounces it back at Vegeta. The Spirit Bomb sends him rocketing up into the sky. Vegeta soon returns to Earth crashing into the ground. He calls his ship using his scouter and makes a getaway. Master Roshi and the others show up and take Krillin, Goku, Gohan, and Yajirobe to the hospital.
