Text-To-Speech

try this bookmarklet

if you like it, copy it from this box

or download bookmark to vmu

this will ask you for a text string... you simply enter the words you want spoken, then hit 'ok'...
It will then access Bell Labs' text-to-speech program, and begin downloading a sound file of your words...
you can change the "audio=.wav" to ".au" or ".aiff" and you can change the "voice=man"... the other choices are raspy, gnat, woman, ridiculous, bigman, child, and coffee (for coffee drinker)...
the resulting sound file can also be saved to your vmu, of course, assuming it is not too big...
and remember, it can take some time to load...
