As with many other international airlines, Japan Airlines also had to have a specially designated aircraft to operate into Taipei, Taiwan to keep the Chinese government happy allowing them to serve both China and Taiwan hence the Japan Asia titles. Here we see the aircraft on its takeoff roll from the world famous but now closed Hong Kong Kai Tek Airport.
