Impulse Airlines is the first airline to utilize the MD95 in Australia. The MD95 was the first jet aircraft operated by Impulse Airlines which operated a fleet of Beech 1900D aircraft. The aircraft pictured above was delivered to the airline on 09/05/2000.

Impulse Airlines introduced a new paint scheme featuring a blue fuselage with a Cockatoo on the tail. In the above photo one of the two MD95s painted in this new scheme is rolling for takeoff on Rwy 30 while still in the pre-delivery flight test program. Interestingly this aircraft was the second test aircraft (N717XB) in the Douglas MD95 flight test program. Sadly Impulse Airlines has become QantasLink and this beautifully painted aircraft has been repainted into standard Qantas colors and Qantas Link titles.
