Southwest Airlines 727-200 Photo Gallery

That's right a Southwest Airlines 727-200 photo gallery. Southwest operated a total seven 727s at various times between August 1978 and late 1985. The aircraft were leased from Braniff and used on the higher density routes that the airline operated. Braniff provided crew training and maintenance services keeping the aircraft in tip top operating condition.

The first 727 that Southwest leased from Braniff seen at Dallas Love Field in July 1979. The aircraft operated with Southwest between 1979 and 1982, and originally began life with Frontier Airlines as (N7276F) on February 8th, 1968.
