With the crew chief out on sabatical and the rest of the team members pre-occupied with the jump up to F1 next season, team driver Ian Root has taken it upon itself to strengthen the storm by sending a strong and clear message. That message: "You go surfing in a hurricane, you gonna drizown, that is unless you're drinking powerade, proud sponsor of BAMF Motorsports." An unconfirmed report has said that team driver Ian Root single handedly attempted to engage in a physical altercation with a whole five person team during an altercation in the garage area. Root had this to comment, "They were blasting Barney music and dancing around to it, just the kind of thing Team BAMF would do; but they're not us. Just because these guys show up and throw a lot of money around thinking they can own the place with their 65 foot trailers, beer girls, and Bar Le Vegas T-Shirts...doesn't mean we're going to let them get a run on us. I went over to their garage and started some shit. They weren't as tough as they made themselves out out to be and they backed down. Man do I hate 15 year olds!" Unfortunately for Team Le Vegas, Ian Root was unable to leave his aggression in the garage area and put Team Le Vegas' star driver Jean-Marc Sebastian Gagnon into the wall in turn two. "It was simple," commented Ian. "They thought they'd get us in the pits, they were wrong...they then thought that they could get us on the track...and well...they were dead wrong about that." For the rest of the day the other drivers didn't dare mount a charge against the team who's been showing all season that they're here for business. Winston Cuenant commented "We haven't even been in a race yet, but we know exactly what we're capable of. We don't go to races because we know that everybody else is racing for second. Next year, we're completely prepared to dominate the Formula One circuit, but we're thinking of holding back another year or two so we can show everybody exactly what we're made of here in the KART series."

A bit of random news from the webmaster. While looking at www.fark.com I noticed that there is a new Lotus go-kart. Top speeds can reach up to 207 MPH. Read the full article here.

Kick-started by a “do or die” attitude, the team took the track on Saturday morning after a consistent and satisfactory run on Friday. In an Indy-esque performance, the team found speed when they couldn’t and where others said they shouldn’t. “We’re taking the series by storm, simple as that,” added Crew Chief Willy. Willy radioed team driver Ian Root to pit so that they could make some adjustments to the sprocket and chain. It was a gamble that paid off, shaving an unprecedented second off of the consistent average despite worn tires.

Staying consistent with the season motto, BAMF Motorsports has proven once again that it’s “taking the series by storm.” This was evident last weekend in a two day practice session at the SRA International Speedway. Director of PR Marc Hetu commented that “We’ve been making a lot of positive changes within the team and are just looking to get some momentum going; this was definitely the start we’ve been looking for.” In a fairy tale run stricken with nothing but adversity and obstacles, Team BAMF has once again proven that their perseverance and ambition will come second to none. Team driver Ian Root had this to comment on the hardships they’ve faced so far: “We’d show up at the track looking to get something going and we’d need a wrench…but we didn’t have a wrench…so we had to go borrow one. Things were just nuts like that.” Team BAMF clearly had all the tools necessary for success this weekend. Winston Cuenant, Team BAMF’s Technical Director, stated “We’ve been saying all season that we’re taking the series by storm…some have heeded our warnings and have sought shelter; others have tried to wait it out, thinking we were just a gentle spring shower…just a little drizzle. Well, let me tell you, I’ve been a weather man for 35 years, and when I say its going to storm, you better watch out cause you gonna get struck!”

We've been working hard lately, so we took a much deserved break last weekend. Unfortunately it was with fat chicks.

Winston is gay...Marc is kind of gay...but Winston is definitely gay.

Once again we've seen a breakdown in the team structure. We're getting consistently faster, but there are still a couple of assholes dragging us down. All I can say right now is that BAMF Motorsports is very pleased with their choice of crew chief. He's reading the set-up well and making it easy to find speed in places we really haven't been able to in the past.

This is a building year for us. We've jumped into this class and had some pretty unreal expectations from the beginning. We're learning pretty fast and are going to try to get something going later on in the season, but right now we're just trying to go out there and run with em.
