5-7 August, 2002 - Summer Trip #1: Space & Rocket Center.
HUNTSVILLE, Alabama.
Show time at Dupo High School is 04:30 Monday, 5 August. Bus will depart shortly thereafter for Huntsville. We will
arrive in the early afternoon after a lunch break. The Colonel and Chief mailed each cadet a list of what to bring along. If you

11 August, 2002 - Summer Trip #2: IL State Fair/Drill Competition.
SPRINGFIELD, Illinois.
Cadet AJ Mitan will command the Color Guard
competing at the Illinois State Fair on 11 August. Other members of the Color Guard will include
Cadet James Lord, Cadet Alex Ellis, Cadet PJ Kinder, and Cadet Roger Riese. Let's bring home some hardware!!
In relation, the Exhibition Drill Team has been practicing through the summer,
preparing for the drill competition at the State Fair as well. Commanded by Cadet James Lord, the drill team
includes Cadet Alan McHone, Cadet Alex Ellis, Cadet AJ Mitan, Cadet April Melton, Cadet Heather Schanuel, Cadet
PJ Kinder, Cadet Ruthie Wheat, Cadet Shelly Cleveland, and Cadets Tiffany and Tina Miller. Compete with pride!!
