CUSTOM CLEAR RED TAIL LIGHTS
ROUND II
ok round two on my custom tail lights. i destroyed the old ones by accident, so i decided to make my own custom ones this time. i just took a set of clear tail lights, and painted them. to figure out though what exactly i wanted red, i actually left the saran wrap type of stuff they come with on. then i took a permanent red marker and colored in areas to see what i liked. after three tests, everyone agreed this was the best "design". so then i masked everything off that i didnt want red (harder then i thought bc i took my time and made sure all the tape lines were straight, and also cut rounded edges in certain areas with a razor blade to make the lines flow, if you will :) anyway then i painted them (with that small but expensive can of tail light spray thats written in japanese). let dry for a day, take off the tape, and tada, cheap, custom tail lights. and no, the vents arent painted, the line of red just continues on past the vent. i actually removed the vents for painting. all in all im pretty happy. did it myself for cheap, and they are custom :)
