Welcome to New York! Wait a minute, we're not in New York! This is just a smaller replica of the original thing. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from France, you know. They must've thought it was such a cool statue they had to keep a copy for themselves!
By the time we walked to the statue it was dark. (It was waaay out of the way!) Luckily a tourist boat came by and illuminated it just long enough for us to take a photo. It was worth the walk! |
The Eiffel Tower lit up. It was nice to look at while we walked toward the statue. |
Of course we had to pose for a quick shot before we headed back. |
The Eiffel Tower by night again. You can never get sick of photographing it! This time we were on a river cruise to see the city from the river. |
A fabulous city shot of the bridge, another cruise boat, and the Eiffel Tower once again! |
The Musee d'Orsay by night. The lights sure do give the city a whole new perspective. |
Notre Dame by night. This is said to be the highlight of the cruise. |
Notre Dame again! I recommend the river cruises. They are reasonably priced and gives you a whole new view of the city. |
