Kevin was raised outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Where he lived with his two adoptive parents. Kevin recalls that music has been part of his life for as long as he can remember. “ I remember being carted around to schools, churches, and radio programs, even at that age.”
Kevin married Alyana, August 9th 1997 and they now live in Nashville, Tennessee.
Kevin’s second hoby is writing poetry when he’s not singing. He has written a book of poems called “At the Foot of Heaven” .
Two of Kevin’s new releases are his book “Unfinished Work” (November 3rd) and his solo CD, “Sterotype Be” (August 28th) . He is currently working on a movie that should be coming out in 2002, the current name as of now is “Soupernatural” but Kevin says that it might change.
*His name was Kevin Max Smith but he thought there were too many “Kevin Smith’s” so he changed his last name to “Max”
