Christ Is In All
All
things were created and exist in Christ. Christ came
that he might fill all things. (Ephesians 4:10).
Filled, we are all
interconnected
in the One Body.
“For it was IN
HIM that all things were CREATED,
in
heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether
thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; ALL THINGS
were created AND EXIST THROUGH HIM [by His service,
intervention] AND IN and FOR HIM."
(Colossians 1:16 Amplified)
Even now, All
things EXIST, and consist,
cohere and are held together
IN CHRIST.
"And He Himself existed
before all things,
and IN
HIM ALL THINGS CONSIST (cohere, are held together)."
(Colossians 1:17 Amplified)
And All things find their
consummation and
fulfillment in
"Christ"
"[He planned] for the
maturity of the
times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head
them up and consummate them IN CHRIST, [both]
things in heaven and things on the earth."
(Ephesians 1:10 Amplified)
Not only is all
in Christ, but Christ FILLS
everything with
himself.
"Which is His body, the
fullness of Him Who
FILLS ALL
IN ALL [for in that body lives the full measure of
Him Who makes everything complete, and WHO FILLS EVERYTHING
EVERYWHERE WITH HIMSELF]."
(Ephesians 1:23 Amplified)
"He Who descended is the
[very] same
as He Who also has ascended high above all the heavens, that
He [HIS PRESENCE] MIGHT FILL ALL THINGS (the
WHOLE UNIVERSE, from the lowest to the highest)."
(Ephesians 4:10 Amplified)
This is not just
in the future. Christ is all
and IN ALL. (Colossian 3:11)
When I think of Christ
filling all things with
Himself,
I am reminded of His own words.
"Neither for these alone
do I pray [it is
not
for their sake only that I make this request], but
also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust
in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,
That they all may be one, [just] as You, FATHER
ARE IN ME , AND I IN YOU, that they also may be ONE IN US, so THAT
THE WORLD MAY BELIEVE and be convinced that You have sent
Me.
I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given
Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:
I IN THEM and You in Me, in order THAT THEY MAY BECOME ONE AND
PERFECTLY UNITED, that the world may know and [definitely]
recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even]
as You have loved Me.
Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted
to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where
I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me
[Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before
the foundation of the world."

God's purpose from before
the foundation of the
world
was to UNITE ALL IN CHRIST.
All was created in Him. All exists in Him. All finds its consummation
in Him.
Paul explains this.
" For FROM HIM and THROUGH HIM and TO HIM are ALL THINGS.
[For all things originate with Him and come from
Him; all things live through Him, and all things center
in and tend to consummate and to end in Him.] To Him
be glory forever! Amen (so be it)."
(Romans 11: 36 Amplified)
