Are We?

Independent Independence does not mean being alone, or isolated. We actively seek out relationship and fellowship with others. We invite you to start your own meeting and contact us. Independence means freedom. Having direct access to God through Christ means being free from the religious control of others. Christ frees us from a clergy mentality where saints become dependent on pastors, priests or clerics. Christ, in Spirit, is our prophet, priest and king. We all have access by one spirit unto the Father. This means we are free from the control of any council, association, or denomination. Meetings can arise more or less spontaneously without the oversight or permission of any ecclesiastical body. Individuals and assemblies are free to follow and listen to the Christ within. This freedom is often exciting and liberating, allowing us to pursue a simple, near apostolic form of worship.
