Buehneman Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties)

As of April 7, 2018 it is now CHAMPION BUEHNEMAN'S GIDEON!!!!(GCH Paray Cambridge ROM ex. Buehneman's Gerty Girl) Thanks go to handler Debbie Walker and judge: Joanne Chaplek, for Gideon's finishing 4 point specialty major. Debbie Walker also handled Gideon to his other specialty major a 5 point under breeder judge Guy Jeavons, and to Deb Podratz for all of his other points including a Best of Breed over specials, and all the hours of showing Gideon that dog shows are fun!

Buehneman Shelties is located on a small acreage in Southeastern Iowa. I have been involved in AKC events with my Shetland Sheepdogs since 1983, starting first in the obedience ring and herding events completing many obedience titles, and several of my dogs received there Herding Certificates (the early herding activities). I have been the breeder of 16 AKC Champions, including one Owner Breeder Handler, Best In Show, "Ch Buehneman's Here's To You" (Cheers)and BISS CH Buehneman's Despite The White" (Desi). Desi finished his Championship on August 31, 2012, at 4 days short of 9 years old, his wins included 3 specialty majors, all except one of his points were won under Breeder Judges.
