History:

Toughness. Grit. Raw power. These are just a few of the many words that have been spoken to describe Titan 3. However, there’s a new term that better sums it up. Three words actually. Hall of Fame. That’s right. From the moment he first set foot into the ICWF, until the day it closed it’s doors for good…Titan 3 had an impact, and was destined for the “Hall”.

Titan had been a world champion long before his arrival into the ICWF on December 1st, 2000. From the second he arrived, Titan 3 made an impact. After attacking and laying out a helpless Kidd Foxx, Titan 3 picked up the microphone and spoke his very first words in the ICWF, announcing that he was in the ICWF to make history. Titan 3 began to storm through his opponents, unmercifully beating them with relentlessness that the ICWF had not yet seen before. Kidd Foxx was the first victim, and many more would follow.

Titan 3 soon after started his now-famous “Damn Good Margarita” campaign. Titan 3 had invented his own style of margarita and began opening up shop during shows, where he would be backstage along with his manager/valet Chloe Barnes. The two would make the margaritas, and then offer them up to the staff, announcers, and other wrestlers in the back. Wrestlers who did not want to taste his margaritas would offend Titan 3, and he would end up beating them savagely. One night in particular, Venom Velocity and Scott Syren both refused Titan’s margaritas. Titan 3 instigates a wild backstage fist-fight with Venom Velocity, and smashes a blender across Scott Syren’s face for his troubles.

Titan 3 never let his backstage behavior get in the way of the pure skill and ring savvy that he possesses. He quickly built up an undefeated record, and went into his first Pay-Per-View event, “Prophecies II: The Second Coming”. It was during this event that Titan made a statement to the entire ICWF that he meant business. He and Venom Velocity squared off in a “Tables for 2” match, in which Titan 3 dominated from beginning to end. As a reward for winning, Titan 3 became the number one contender to any title he wanted, with the exception of the world heavyweight title. It was also at “Prophecies II: The Second Coming where Titan 3 and Dean formed an alliance known as “The ICONS” to battle against Handyman’s stable known as “Explicit Content”. Titan unleashed a series of devastating sneak attacks on members of Explicit Content, starting with a shovel attack on Handyman in the parking garage, ranging to a vicious toilet plunger attack on Kingpin., to a brutal staged “cafeteria” attack on Kylo.

Now established as a legitimate contender, and not just a behind the scenes comedian, the upper echelon of the ICWF began to take notice of the big bald monster known as Titan 3. Friends and foes alike began calling him “T3”, which stuck with him throughout the rest of his wrestling career. Titan 3 soon began having back and forth battles against Big Game Johnny Hunter, which would eventually lead up to another chapter of ICWF history, written by the man known as “T3”. Titan 3 finished up the year 2000 with an unbeaten record, and a hungry desire to take it a step further.

The year 2001 started off with a bang, as you might have expected. However, on Jan 11, 2001, Titan made the history that he promised he was going to make. For the first time in history, a major single’s title changed hands at a house-show event, when Titan 3 and Johnny Hunter couldn’t wait for the Pay-Per-View to get it on. Titan 3 and Johnny Hunter beat the living hell out of each other all over the arena, but in the end “T3” emerged triumphant, capturing his very first single’s title in the ICWF. Hunter retired shortly afterwards. Titan 3 soon found himself again involved in a feud with members of Explicit Content. The stable consisted of then World Champion Handyman, and his right hand man Kylo. Titan’s ICON partner Dean was soon injured in an attack by Kylo, and taken out of the equation, leaving Titan 3 to battle on his own once again.

Titan soon found himself fighting at his second Pay-Per-View event, Genesis to Genocide, where T3 defended his Hardcore title against the talented young Mike Allen. Titan 3 won the match, and shortly after, he brought to Owner Dougg Jiminez’s attention of a particular clause in his contract. The contract stated that after 10 wins, Titan 3 would be guaranteed a world title shot. ODJ reluctantly granted Titan 3 his world title shot, pitting T3 versus Handyman at Insane Massacre 2. T3 and Handyman attacked each other with a brutal fierceness, and the hate was brewing between the two ring warriors was far too obvious. Titan 3 soon surprised the ICWF by turning his back on the fans and aligning himself with “The Real Deal” John Steel, thus forming the “Old School Revival”. Handyman ended up dropping the heavyweight title just before Insane Massacre 2, leaving it vacant. ODJ, whom had become good friends with Titan 3 during this time, then signed the number one and number two contenders to face each other at Insane Massacre 2 instead….the challenger? The Lost Soul!

The Lost Soul and Titan 3 never liked each other, and the two men only needed the simplest of reasons to beat the living Hell out of each other. What better reason than the heavyweight title match of the ICWF at Insane Massacre 2? T3 and TLS battled it out, with the main event going both ways. Finally, TLS was able to defeat Titan 3, denying him the world title…for now. TLS had used a set of brass knuckles that were tossed to him by fellow stable mate PIC from the outside. Following the controversial match, Titan 3 and the Old School Revival had become involved in a feud against TLS’s stable, known collectively as “Total Damnation”. TLS would be forced to drop the world title due to a vicious attack caused by Titan 3 and the OSR. The world title would elude Titan 3 once again at the next Pay-Per-View event., as he was taken out of his “Ultimate Survival 2” match by a unknown assailant, and knocked out of the US2 tournament

Titan 3 soon started being referred to as ODJ’s “Chosen One”. After all, ODJ handpicked Titan 3 to face the winner of Ultimate Survival 2, Anthony Logan at “Deadly Revenge 3”. Becoming increasingly more obsessed with winning the world title, Titan’s behavior started becoming erratic and unpredictable. TLS returned a few weeks later, re-kindling the hatred between both men. Eventually, Titan 3 turned on John Steel, beating his former stable mate down badly. His reasoning for this attack? “He was dead weight” Titan 3 was quoted as saying about his ex-partner. With the help of his brother Vic D’Amor, and Booch Freeman, Titan 3 went stable-less, and continued his war against TLS, PIC, and Killa Kali.

Finally, Titan 3’s moment in the sun came. At Deadly Revenge 3, Titan 3 was able to outlast TLS and Anthony Logan, bringing home the world heavyweight championship. Shortly after this, the ICWF closed it’s doors…but not for good.

The entire time the fed was closed, Titan 3 was still the champion. In February of 2001, the ICWF re-opened, and after a small contract dispute, the world champ Titan 3 returned! However Titan 3 was unable to shake off the ring-rust and the total lack of respect for his opponent…The Mozz. After interference by Derek Mobley, the Mozz was able to pin Titan 3 to win the title. On the first Friday Night Heat after the ICWF-reopened it’s doors, Titan lost his belt.

Titan 3 would soon re-gain the Hardcore title, by defeating Mozz and Kylo in a three-way match. However, dark days were upon the ICWF. Titan 3 soon found himself feuding against former partner Dean and his stable, The House of Pain. Titan 3 battled mainly against arch-rival Derek Mobley. It was during this time that the FTF was born. During a fight against Derek Mobley, Kylo and Mobley were doubling up on Titan 3, when from out of the back came Titan’s long-time rival Killa Kali to join in. Killa Kali began to help out Mobley and Kylo when from out of nowhere, he knocked out Derek Mobley with a chair, only to be attacked by Kylo. Titan 3 got up and disposed of Kylo, leaving he and Killa Kali face to face in a stare down. The two men shocked the wrestling world when they hugged, revealing their whole feud to be a scam! Mozz came down and then attacked Kylo, and the original three members of the FTF stood side by side in the ring with their arms raised. Later, Titan’s bid to reclaim the heavyweight title was foiled by Derek Mobley in an “Insane Long Way Down” match at Ultimate Survival 3.

Titan 3 and The FTF would go on to terrorize the ICWF for the next several months, mainly waging a war against the House of Pain. Ruthless, and sadistic, the FTF took no prisoners. This point was made clear at “Deadly Revenge 4”, when Mozz was out in the ring making his retirement speech. Titan 3 and Killa Kali came out to bid him farewell…and then brutally beat Mozz in front a shocked crowd. Milo Decadent and Brett Archer joined in, revealing themselves as the brand new members of the dangerous FTF. A badly injured Mozz was taken out of the arena by ambulance, as the FTF celebrated. The FTF eventually grew beyond ODJ’s control, which angered ODJ to the point of forcing Titan 3 to make a decision…ODJ, or the FTF. Titan 3 stayed loyal to the FTF, sparking a war between the FTF and ODJ.

Titan 3 was defeated by Handyman at DR4 during a hardcore title defense. This would not stop T3, and he would soon get his revenge by pinning Handyman in a tag-team tournament that featured himself and partner Killa Kali (Darkside Assassins), squaring off against Kylo and Handyman (Explicit Content). Shortly after that, Titan 3 defeated Derek Mobley, claiming his second ICWF world title at "Masters of the Mat 3". Titan 3 and Killa Kali eventually won the tag-team titles by defeating the 3rd Earth Clique at “Bad Blood 3”, while Titan 3 defeated TLS in a “Barbed-Wire Crown” in the main event.

The world title was lost again at “Extreme Measures 2”, when he was upended by Kylo. Titan 3 had become distracted by the break-up between he and then-girlfriend and manager, Chloe Barnes. Kylo took advantage, getting by Titan 3 in a very hard-fought contest. T3 was awarded the ICWF intercontinental title, and was able to get into the “Clash of the Champions 2” event, which featured all of the current champions of the ICWF going at it in a round-robin tournament format. In the first round of the tournament, Titan 3 defeated Da Link, claiming the North American championship. The next round, Titan 3 was forced to face his best-friend and tag-team partner, Killa Kali. After a very intense and physical match-up, Titan 3 was able to squeak by Killa Kali, winning the Hardcore title for the third time. Titan 3 was then set to Face El Linchador in the finals. El Linchador was now the current Lightweight/Television/European, and World champion. The two men went it like rabid dogs, and Titan 3 was able to put away El Linchador with 2 Ground Zeros, thus claiming ALL of the ICWF single’s titles (Minus the Women’s title), and becoming the first ever Grand Slam champion.

Titan 3 would remain the World Champion all the way until the ICWF closed it’s doors again. He fought off a determined El Linchador at “Insane Rumble 3”, while he and the rest of the FTF still ran roughshod over the ICWF. At the last Pay-Per-View event, “Halloween Riot 2”, Titan held onto the world title by fighting off a very tough challenger in Andrew Logan, as well as re-capturing the tag-team titles by beating the House of Pain.

During his time in the ICWF, Titan 3 became known for his ability, and his exceptional mic-skills. His track record says it all. Even during difficult times, Titan 3 would always show up first, leave last, and was constantly training.

Whether it be the man known as Vincent D’Amor, or the wrestler known as Titan 3…he staked his claim as being the best the ICWF had ever seen, and his credentials speak for themselves, as well as his many in-ring performances. His triumphs far out-weigh his setbacks, and his work ethic is second to none. It is difficult not to think of Titan 3 when thinking of the ICWF. His legacy will forever be solidified in the memories of all those associated with the ICWF. Titan 3 never once complained about having to do double duty. He did it, and he enjoyed, which is one of the many reasons why he is in the Hall of Fame. One of the most revered names in the sport, Titan 3 has definitely made the history that he promised that fateful night on December 1, 2000.
