The Seven Thunders

Day Seven and The Seventh Seal

This article will attempt to provide necessary present day truth unveiling the end-time message of The Seven Thunders as they are revealed through a comparison and contrast between Genesis 1, the Book of Revelation, and the Gospel of Thomas.

The Revelation of John apocalyptically opens for us the seven seals. And then in Chapter 10 the seven thunders though previously hidden utter their voices in an ultimate unveiling of our Father's divine purpose and plan.

There is a Side by side sequential comparison between "The Book of Revelation" and "The Gospel of Thomas" that is beneficial to examine. The relevant reveal can be seen through a comparison between Revelation Chapter 10:5-7 and the corresponding "Gospel of Thomas" saying 51. In Thomas, the big and climatic question the Disciples ask is "When will the repose of the dead come about, and when will the new world come?" Thomas 51. The corresponding side by side passage of "The Revelation" replies, that "in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets... that there should be time no longer," Revelation 10:5-7.  When will all this happen, and what does this mean? When the seventh messenger (or angel) reveals the message of the seven thunders, then the oppressive control system of this current world order can come to an end. The new world can be seen, and the repose of the dead will be made manifest.

Jesus said, "What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it... and men do not see it," Thomas 51, 113. In other words, the seven thunders have already uttered their voices, but men have not heard it. This can be seen in a careful study of Genesis One.   And so, although John heard the message of these seven thunders, still he was instructed to keep the fuller message of the seven thunders sealed up and hidden from his readers until we were ready. But get yourselves ready, and be encouraged.   There is nothing hidden which will not be made known. Although these things were shut up to be kept hidden until the time of the end this article will provide new insight into the seven thunders. God does nothing unless he first reveals it to his people, Amos 3:7. Although the prophets were shown these things in the distant past, these seven thunders and their meaning were sealed up from the rest of God's people until the time of the end, Revelation 10:4, Daniel 12:9. Get yourselves ready. A full and complete disclosure of the meaning of these seven thunders will not only prepare us for, but may also hasten, the end of time as we have known it, Revelation 10:6-7.

For this reason,
and perhaps with fear, in the past there had been a hesitance to share the thoughts of this article lest a prophetic event unwittingly be triggered before either you or I were ready. Perhaps, the rather ominous bodings of Amos inspired caution, “Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light,” Amos 5:18.  Still the revelation kept coming. And so the writing continued, but quietly and privately with fear and trembling, and with great care, but also with great hope remembering that although "His anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: (and although) weeping may endure for a night... joy cometh in the morning," Psalms 30:5. And so, because of such promises, the writing continued, but still there was a hesitancy to publishPerhaps, such a hesitation was useful, and had its purpose. However, a recent sighting of a full circle rainbow, even a double rainbow, around the sun, reminded me of the Rainbow Promise in Genesis 9:13-16 and of the rainbow passage in the Revelation, "I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven,... and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun... And he had in his hand a little book open, Revelation 10:1-2.

Perhaps, it is time to open this little book and the end-time promise it contains, Thomas 1, 28

Peter ponders that coming day, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance," 1 Peter 3:9.
The sharing of this article is with intent for prophecy can function as a warning to bring us to repentance. God is patient, not willing that any should perish. May the thoughts of this article bring us to our knees.

However,
beyond bringing us to repentance, there is another purpose to prophecy. Through it, God has made known to us, and given to us responsibilities that we must fulfill. This present evil world must come to an end. Rather than hindering the prophetic timeline, those who are so chosen by Him to bring these messages forward, they will work with Him to speed up the fulfillment of the prophesied events. And so, this study of the kingdom is now being shared hoping that others will carry its message, and hasten the kingdom's growth.

These things must be shared because certain events must be accomplished before the end of the old comes to pass.
We each have our own personal responsibilities to discover and fulfill, which God hath before ordained that we might walk in them, that we might partake in all the promises as declared to his servants the prophets.” Revelation 10:7, 1 Peter 3:12-13. Jesus said, This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come,” Matthew 24:14We all must do our part to hasten his coming. “The gospel must first be published among all nations,” Mark 13:10. The gospel that Jesus authored must be made known. Perhaps you will do your part to help bring this to pass. Then the promises can be fulfilled, the old will pass way, and the new will come.

Some will send the message. Some will take the message. We all have a role to discover in this cosmic drama.

And so, as much as we are able, following the exhortation of the scriptures we are “looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? (And indeed, this consuming fire is a sobering thought to ponder.) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness” 2 Peter 3:12-13. Knowing all of this we speak, but with fear and trembling, Matthew 13:49-50, Revelation 14:6-20.

John's unveiling speaks of the Everlasting Gospel, the Revelation of Jesus Christ, and the Testimony of Jesus which Jesus himself called "My sayings."
As God's chosen messenger who delivered this message, only Jesus is worthy to open or unveil the end-time message of this Little Scroll. However, as he opens the seals within this little scroll, He hands it to his servants and messengers, and this Gospel of Christ will both be published and preached in all the world, and among all nations, and then will the end come, Revelation 10:9. Are you crying out for the consummation, and seeing the need. Perhaps, are you hearing the call? Perhaps, you too will follow the footsteps of those early sent ones, who took the little scroll with them.  "They went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them... confirming the word with signs following," Mark 16:20. However, if the final seven seals are now being opened, perhaps you too will go, but with even greater revelation, and even greater power than those early disciples. There is an early rain, and a latter rain. Get yourselves ready.

The seven seals that John described prevented this little scroll from unrolling until we were ready, and served to both hide and protect the message of the scroll until He finally unseals them. If we are now seeing the message more clearly, then what does this mean? Could this imply that the seals are actually being opened?  Is this pinpointing our current position in the prophetic timeline? And if the seven thunders are being unveiled, then this is an especially sobering thought. This could foreshadow the ultimate fulfillment of all the promises    “declared to his servants the prophets” since the foundation of the earth, Revelation 10:4, 6, 7, Acts 3:21.   Such an unveiling may suggest that the coming day of God is very, very near, 1 Peter 3:12-13.

Such is the import of this article.

What have we discovered so far? And what else might be coming? Let me explain.

It has been revealed that The Seven Thunders are the creative utterances of God during The Seven Days of Creation in Genesis 1. However, there is much more than this. To start with, there is a direct correspondence between the seven seals in “The Book of Revelation” and these seven thunders. These correspondences are clearly visible when the seven seals described in Revelation 6-8 are considered together with the creative ("God said") pronouncements of God in Genesis 1.

To elaborate and explain these correspondences the little scroll mentioned in the Book of Revelation must be identified. This little scroll is a real book that was given to Jesus and scribed by his disciple.  It has been revealed through painstakingly comparative studies that this little scroll that John writes about is the little book that today is called “The Gospel of Thomas.”  This gospel is The Revelation of Jesus Christ” that John is writing about. This little book is the gospel that Jesus authored, which God gave to him, and which was scribed by his disciple Thomas.

(Confirm this for yourself. Examine this further by reading The Testimony of Jesus Christ. For more evidence that “The Gospel of Thomas” is this Little Book you may visit The Original Gospel Authored by Jesus Christ.”)

What are the implications of all this?

If The Gospel of Thomas that Jesus authored is the little scroll with the seven seals which are opened in the “The Book of Revelation," then the only way to understand what John is writing about is to understand what Jesus wrote about. This is because John is specifically trying to explain the “Gospel of Christ” or the Gospel authored by Christ. Said another way, the Book of Revelation is the record of his apocalyptic visions with commentary concerning the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus which was scribed by Thomas.  (C.f. The Revelation - Thomas Comparison)

Because this is so hidden from so many people, this bears repeating. The only way to understand what John is writing about is to understand what Jesus wrote about. This is because John is writing specifically to explain the Gospel of Christ” or the Gospel authored by Christ.

In a similar way, the only way to understand the meaning of the seven thunders is to see how the utterances of God within the seven days of Genesis One answer
the various questions posed by the disciples of Jesus as we see them within the seven sections within the Gospel authored by Christ. The seven days, the seven seals, the seven thunders, and the questions of the disciples, and responses of God are all connected. Together these sevens can take us just a little bit further into the very heart of our Father's divine purpose for us all. (C.f. The Gospel of Thomas - Genesis One Connection and The Seven Seals.)

In these articles, the seven seals within this little scroll called Thomas are revealed. John’s explanation of these seals is seen in “The Book of Revelation”. The questions of the disciples within each of the sections within the scroll are then connected to each of the declarations of God within each of the corresponding seven days in Genesis one.  Within these seven sectionings within Thomas the disciples express their questions to Jesus. Within these seven days in Genesis 1 God answers these questions.   "The disciples asked" (In Thomas) ... "And God Said" (In Genesis 1). These are the seven thunders. The direct correspondence between The Gospel of Thomas and  Genesis 1 opens to us the deeper meaning of the scroll.

In this way, by careful study, we can understand the message of the seven thunders.

Simply stated, the seven seals in The Gospel of Thomas” correspond to the seven days of creation in Genesis 1. This can be seen by viewing the side by side comparison of these two scriptures and by giving specific attention to the transitions between the days.
(Again, view the

Side by Side, Hear God's response as He Declares with "One Voice."
A Stern and Perfect Rebuke to the "Many Voices" of the Disciples of Jesus.
"The disciples asked" (In Thomas) ... "And God Said" (In Genesis 1).

On the seventh day, we see the Lightning Light up the Heavens and the Earth,
As the Disciples Run and then Fly with their message,
And Hear and understand the response of The Seven Thunders of God,
And See the Re-creative Power of God,
As He Comments and Answers the Questionings of these Disciples of Jesus,
As they are seen within the Gospel of Thomas.

Though the Disciples may not all speak the same thing,
The Seven Thunders Will Speak with One Voice, Revelation 10:1-7.

Putting all this together is a step by step process.
First, the corresponding seven sections and seven days of Thomas and Genesis 1 must be seen.
Second, the position of the seven seals (or partitions) within this little scroll can be located. Third, the two sayings within the Gospel of Thomas on either side of
these transitions or seals can be examined. Both of these two sayings are themselves connected to each other by key words that provide further insight into the primary meanings of the seals at this point in the text. These key word connections are the seals that need to be opened (or understood) in order to comprehend the end time message of the seven thunders uttered in God’s original message in Genesis 1. Again, the key word connections or seals can be seen by examining The Above and Below of the Seven Seals.
Fourth, further insight can be gleened by examining the seven corresponding sections in the Book of Revelation, and other canonical books. (The reader is encouraged to view these links in order to follow the logic of this presentation.)

In  summary, the meaning and the purpose of the seven thunders, and the corresponding seals in ”The Book of Revelation” were both sealed up until the time of the end. The Gospel of Thomas which was hidden for centuries is now once again being opened.  By joining these interconnecting ideas all together it is hoped that we will get a better understanding of God’s message for the end-time elect.

So let’s get into this study. Let’s consider the Seven Seals mentioned in “The Book of Revelation and the Seven Thunders spoken in Genesis 1.  And let’s consider how The “Gospel of Thomas,” by bridging these two texts, provides the keys to truly understand both.

In an effort to seek after the truth, let’s examine the questions of the disciples and the answers of Jesus within The Gospel of Thomas, and unite them with the corresponding parallels between the seven seals in The Book of Revelation, the answers of God within the seven days of creation in Genesis 1, and the seven corresponding partitions or seals within The Gospel of Thomas.”

Let's attempt to pull this all together.
This article is intended to merely introduce these ideas. For those who are willing to labour in the word and in doctrine there is a rich reward. Blessings on your search.

SECTION 1. THE PARALLELS BETWEEN
GENESIS, THOMAS, AND THE REVELATION:
Jesus is the Beginning and the End, and everything inbetween.

Let's start at the Beginning.

The First Seal mentioned in John's Revelation explains the First Section
of The Gospel of Thomas, the questions of the disciples, and the answers of God during the First Day of Genesis.
(Genesis 1:3-5, Revelation 6:1-2, Thomas 6-11, Revelation 1:11-20)

The First Seal of Revelation

"And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer," Revelation 6:1-2.

The first  seal in the Testimony of Jesus

Jesus said,
"Recognize what is in  your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you . For there is nothing hidden which will not  become manifest," Thomas 5.
“His disciples questioned him and said to him, "Do you want us to fast? How shall we pray? Shall we give alms?  What diet shall we observe?"
Jesus said,    "Do not tell lies, and do not do what you hate, for all things are  plain in the sight of heaven. For nothing hidden will not become manifest, and nothing covered will remain without being uncovered," Thomas 6.

The First Seal that is opened is connected by the key words: See and will become.

The Questions of the Disciples on the First Day

His disciples... said... "What... shall we observe?...

The first day of Genesis

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. Genesis 1:3-5.

1. What is being revealed in the First Day, the First Seal, and the First Thunder?

A Summary:

At this point in the text, right after the first seal is opened there is a specific emphasis. People are looking for answers. God’s people are asking, "What shall we do?"   "What…  shall we observe?"  We all know that Jesus is "the light which is above them all," Thomas 77. But in the Book of Revelation is this what John saw? Rather, he
saw seven golden candlesticks,”  Revelation 1:11. This is a clue about the revelation that is unfolding.

In this section of scripture John elaborates, I heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet saying "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book... I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks" Revelation 1:11. John is told to write about what he saw. And he saw the candlesticks. John heard the Alpha and the Omega, but saw
seven golden candlesticks. He heard Jesus, but saw the Church. This may be a foreshadowing of the revelation of oneness that is about to be unveiled.

Perhaps, you too are hearing the first beast call out,
Come and see,” Revelation 6:2.
Nothing is hidden in heaven, nor unseen from heaven. Come up hither, or come up higher! Jesus said, Recognize what is in your sight… For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest,” Thomas 6. When God speaks there is is lightning and there is thunder.  And the Light will make manifest that which was hidden. Jesus said, Recognize what you are seeing and that which is hidden from you will become manifest, Thomas 5.

John writes, "I saw... in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man,
Revelation 1:11. Within the churches (or the candlesticks) was "one LIKE unto the Son of man" and "his eyes were as a flame of fire," Revelation 1:13-14. In John's revelation those within the church are seen to be like Jesus with penetrating eyes that light up everything they see.

Perhaps, you will see other connections if you will search.

Let’s consider the 2nd day.

SECTION 2. PARALLEL TEXTS IN REVELATION, THOMAS, AND GENESIS
:

The Second Seal mentioned in John's Revelation explains the
Second Section within Thomas,
the questions of the disciples, and the answers of God during
the Second Day of Genesis.
(Genesis 1:6-8, Revelation 6:3-4, Thomas 12-18, Revelation 2:1-3:10)

The second seal of Revelation

"And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword," Revelation 6:3-4.

The second seal in the Testimony of Jesus

Jesus said, "This heaven will pass away, and the one above it will pass away. The dead are not alive, and the living will not die. In the days when you consumed what is dead, you made it what is alive. When you come to dwell in the light, what will you do? On the day when you were one you became two. But when you become two, what will you do?"  Thomas 11.

The disciples said to Jesus, "We know that you will depart from us. Who is to be our leader?"
Jesus said to them, "Wherever you are, you are to go to James the righteous, for whose sake heaven and earth came into being," Thomas 12.

The Second Seal that is opened is connected by key words and thoughts: One became two  causing separation and death. Even heaven and earth were divided.

The Questions of the Disciples on the Second Day

The disciples ask, "We know that you will depart from us.  Who is to be our leader?"
The disciples ask, "Tell us how our end will be."

The second day of Genesis

"And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day," Genesis 1:6-8.

2. What is being revealed in the Second Day, the Second Seal, and the Second Thunder?

A Summary
:

The second message is about a division that is created by the power that is given to our leaders. “Power was given… to take peace from the earth… and there was given unto him a great sword,”

The disciples are asking, Who is to be our leader?” And where will they take us? "Tell us how our end will be." Strangely enough, God’s response is, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” God’s response is a play on words.

Let me explain. A Firmament is the the Arch of the sky that divided the waters above from the waters below.

In the New Testament Greek Arches can have two similar but related meanings.

First,  Arches can mean Leader, Authority, Principality, First place, or the One who commences. In this way, the firmament is God’s response to the disciples request for a leader, (C.f. Thomas 3). The Leaders (Arches or Firmament) will divide the waters. In the last book of the Bible, the Book of Revelation, it explains that the waters refer to the peoples,  Revelation 17:15. The implication is that the Leaders who are placed above the people will divide the people below, from the people above. The leaders are the firmament that divides. We are the divided waters.

In other words the firmament creates a division.
This division is a form of death or separation. Power was given… to take peace from the earth and it is a form of war.

However,
right after the second seal is opened and in the second section of the scroll, The Gospel of Thomas - Book of Revelation Comparison reveals that the right kind of leadership does not have to divide the peoples. When the disciples ask "Who is to be our leader?"  the Revelation reminds us of "the apostles" or one like unto the son of man in our midst, Thomas 12, Revelation 2:2. Jesus said, "He that is greatest among you (in your midst) shall be your servant," Matthew 23:11. A servant is not over you, separating you from that which is above.  A servant is in your midst, lifting you up.

Jesus baffles Thomas when he says, "I am not your master," Thomas 13. And the Revelation warns us of "them which say they are Jews, and are not," Revelation 2:9. True faith is an act of service, not an exercise of dominion that is lorded over others, 1 Peter 5:3.

True leadership, rather than separating us from that which is above, buffers us from that which is below. Jesus said, "Men think, perhaps, that it is peace which I have come to cast upon the world. They do not know that it is dissension which I have come to cast upon the earth: fire, sword, and war," Thomas 16. The division that must occur is not from that which is above, but from the spiritual fornication and adultery with this world, Revelation 2:21-22.

True leadership does not take, but gives. Jesus said, "I shall give you what no eye has seen and what no ear has heard and what no hand has touched and what has never occurred to the human mind," Thomas 17.  "These things saith the Son of God... I will give... the morning star." Revelation 2:18, 28.

Secondly, Firmament or the Greek "
Arches" can mean the Beginning, origin, first, or primary. This meaning relates to the disciples request, "Tell us how our end will be." The existence of a beginning implies an end. Dividing the waters
God called the firmament Heaven. The separation is useful, foreshadowing the consummation and the end of time, as we known it. Jesus explains how and when the division and the separation will break down, saying “Where the beginning is, there will the end be?”  Where the Beginning was, there will Our end be. When we make the two into one, then we will enter the kingdom. He that is joined to the Lord is One Spirit, 1 Corinthians 6:17.

This next point is extremely important. Those who wield power often use fear. In contrast to this misuse of power, Jesus showed us how to love. False leadership takes. Jesus gives. When disciples ask, "Tell us how our end will be?" then Jesus tells us to take our place in the beginning, Thomas 18. He is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, and our example. In the Book of Revelation Jesus is the one who holds the Keys of David, and who opens to us the kingdom of God, and says, "I have set before thee an open door", Revelation 3:7-8. Use this power wisely and properly, and you "will not experience death," Thomas 18. And "I... will keep thee from the hour of temptation," Revelation 3:10. Having said this he then gives us the keys of the kingdom. (C.f. The Keys of the Kingdom). Hand in hand, together as One, walk humbly with your God, Micah 6:8.

SECTION 3. PARALLEL TEXTS IN REVELATION, THOMAS, AND GENESIS:

The Third Seal mentioned in John's Revelation explains the Third Section within Thomas,
the questions of the disciples, and the answers of God during
the Third Day of Genesis.
(Genesis 1:9-13, Revelation 6:5-6, Thomas 19-32, Revelation 3:10-6:15)

The third seal of Revelation,  the third day of Genesis,  and the third seal in the Testimony of Jesus.

The third seal of Revelation

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. Rev 6:5
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Rev 6:6

The third seal in the Testimony of Jesus

The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us how our end will be."
Jesus said, "Have you discovered, then, the beginning, that you look for the end? For where the beginning is, there will the end be. Blessed is he who will take his place in the beginning; he will know the end and will not experience death," Thomas 18.

Jesus said, "Blessed is he who came into being before he came into being. If you become my disciples and listen to my words, these stones will minister to you. For there are five trees for you in Paradise which remain undisturbed summer and winter and whose leaves do not fall. Whoever becomes acquainted with them will not experience death," Thomas 19.

The Questions of the Disciples on the Third Day

The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us what the kingdom of heaven is like," Thomas 20.
Mary said to Jesus, "Whom are your disciples like?" Thomas 21.
They said to him, "Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?" Thomas 22.

The third day of Genesis

9. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10.  And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and yielding fruit after his kind, the fruit tree
whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12.
And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13. And the evening and the morning were the third day. Genesis 1:9-13.

3. What does it sound like when God answers the questions of the disciples?

A. The disciples said...
"Tell us what the kingdom of heaven is like?"
A. God said, "Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let        the dry land appear   Genesis 1:9.

B.
Mary said... "Whom are your disciples like?
B.  God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas

C. They said... "Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?
C. God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding          fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth

D. His disciples said... "Show us the place where you are, since it is necessary for us to seek it
D. God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding          after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth

3. What is being revealed in the Third Day, the Third Seal, and the Third Thunder?

A Summary:

Day two was about the division. The disciples had asked Jesus, "Tell us how our end will be." The judgment upon those who are separated is of death, subjugation, lack, and injustice.  We read of a pair of balances which points to this injustice and to the scarcity of wheat, of barley, and of oil and wine

This is in contrast to the blessing and abundance on the third day when,  God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth,” Genesis 1:11.

Together, these two days emphasize the difference between scarcity and abundance. Day three is about the gathering together of the waters, and the blessing such unity brings. Blessed is he who will take his place in the beginning, within Jesus. He will know the end, and so, he will not experience death, or lack, or injustice.

The end will come, and there will be scarcity, but those who understand, and take their place in the beginning transcend this. In the alpha he will know the omega. Blessed is he who came into being before he came into being… (he) will not experience death," Thomas 19.

Transcending our earthly perspective is where the voice of God will take us if we “listen to (his) words… and… become… acquainted with them," Thomas 19.  “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God,” Revelation 2:7.

When the disciples asked... "Tell us what the kingdom of heaven is like? Thomas 18, then God responds, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear, Genesis 1:9. When we are gathered together into one place, it is like the kingdom of heaven, and when we make the two one, then we will enter the kingdom.

When Mary asked... "Whom are your disciples like?" Then  God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas. In this passage, God reveals that we are like the waters that have been gathered together from the confusion of various sub-groups. With the ongoing amalgamation and purification of the seas, the Kingdom is experienced, and the confusion disappears, but only when we come together as One by listening to his words.

When the disciples asked... "Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?”  God responded, Let the earth bring forth grass,” the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth.  Like children and like grass we grow up toward maturity until we are like trees… in Paradise.

When the disciples asked Jesus to "Show us the place where you are, since it is necessary for us to seek it.” Again, God replies,  “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth.”  We are like the fruit tree that grows and matures.  If we ask Jesus where he is, and where can we find God, then Jesus might surprise us,  “Split a piece of wood, and I am there,” Thomas 77.   When God opens our eyes we might be like the blind man crying out, "I see men as trees, walking," Mark 8:24.

Reminiscent of the second day of scarcity and lack, there is another tree, and a grapevine that has grown up outside of the father. Such trees are in direct contrast to the third day trees of the kingdom. These who are religiously divided are those who see the speck of wood in anothers eye, but do not see the beam of the tree in their own eye. Instead of separating from the world below, they separate from heaven above, and from one another. These are the ones who placed Jesus on the tree where he "was slain,"  Thomas 26, Revelation 5:9. Despite the cruelty of this tree, it is still worthwhile to consider this crossAgain Jesus said, "Split a piece of wood, and I am there," Thomas 77. This is the truth hidden even in the death and separation of the second day.

However, the Third Section gives us a picture of unity, and what the disciples are like. Jesus uses several illustrations to tell us what we are like, and describes the kingdom of heaven. We are like living stones joined together as a temple for the Father. In the Book of Revelation, right after the Third Seal is opened and in the third section of the scroll, as it is seen within The Gospel of Thomas - Book of Revelation Comparison Jesus makes a special promise, "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God," Revelation 3:12. "Ye also, as lively (or living) stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 2:5. Concerning, both those who overcome and carry the message, and also regarding those who are adopted into the household, Jesus says, "These stones will minister to you," Thomas 19. And, if you can see it, the days will come when even, "the kings of the earth... hid(e) themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains," Revelation 6:15. (C.f. Matthew 13:4, 32)

Those who will enter the kingdom must take a humble place. Setting the example for us,
and for our sake Jesus took his "place in the midst of the world," Thomas 28. Such a "great wealth has made its home in this poverty." Because of the hope that is set before us, and because of love, Jesus accepted and even pursued the necessary suffering even to the point of physical death, Philippians 2:5-8, 3:14-15.  "The angels and the beasts and the elders all cry out, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain," Revelation 5:12. Jesus sets the example. The kingdom of heaven is like "the smallest of all seeds," that falls into the ground and dies. Thomas 20. The Revelation explains that those who follow this example have a "faithful and true witness," Revelation 3:14For those who take such a lowly place John writes, "I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter," Revelation 4:1.  Jesus says, "I shall choose you," Thomas 23. And like Jesus, "Thou art worthy," Revelation 4:11. But "No prophet is accepted," Thomas 31. There are servants coming who "will be killed" like a seed falling into the ground, but they too will bear much fruit, Revelation 6:11. Such ones are like "the fruit tree whose seed is in itself," and reproducing after their own kind they bear much fruit which becomes food for the nations, Genesis 1:11.  And the forest is growing.

Jesus says his disciples are like "children who have settled in a field," Thomas 21
And "Jesus saw infants being suckled," joined as one unto their mother, Thomas 22.
There is a coming together of heaven and earth that characterizes the kingdom.

To summarize, we are like the waters that come into being, fulfilling our destiny when we come together with the river of life. We are like stones that come together into a holy temple. We are like trees that become a forest. We are like family. We are like seeds growing up into maturity, like the planting of the Lord, trees of righteousness, which when we examine closely, we each are a revelation of Jesus, who is himself the perfect revelation of the Father. Learn from these stones, and learn from these trees, and become pure water, Thomas 19.

SECTION 4. PARALLEL TEXTS IN REVELATION, THOMAS, AND GENESIS:

The Fourth Seal mentioned in John's Revelation explains the Fourth Section within Thomas,
the questions of the disciples, and the answers of God during
the Fourth Day of Genesis.
(Genesis 1:14-19, Revelation 6:7-8, Thomas 33-51, Revelation 6:16-10:7)

The fourth seal of Revelation

"And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth," Revelation 6:7-8.

The fourth seal in the Testimony of Jesus

Jesus said, "A city being built on a high mountain and fortified cannot fall, nor can it be hidden," Thomas 32.

Jesus said, "Preach from your housetops that which you will hear in your ear. For no one lights a lamp and puts it under a bushel, nor does he put it in a hidden place, but rather he sets it on a lampstand so that everyone who enters and leaves will see its light," Thomas 33.

The Questions of the Disciples on the Fourth Day

His disciples said, "When will you become revealed to us and when shall we see you?"  Thomas 37.
His disciples said to him, "When will the repose of the dead come about, and when will the new world come?" Thomas 51

The fourth day of Genesis

14. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18. And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. Genesis 1:14-19.

4. What is being revealed in the Fourth Day, the Fourth Seal, and the Fourth Thunder?

A Summary:

The passage in the Book of Revelation that corresponds to section three and four in the little scroll is a detailed explanation of the seven seals. John writes, "When he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour," Revelation 8:1. At this point in the text Jesus also speaks about silence, saying, "Many times have you desired to hear these words which I am saying to you, and you have no one else to hear them from. There will be days when you will look for me and will not find me" Thomas 38.

The opening of these seals may be a difficult time for seekers who are trying to see and hear, but still there will be light given if we are patient, and if we will look, and the source of that light might come as a surprise to some.

On the fourth day, perhaps, the primary question for the disciples was "When will you become revealed to us and when shall we see you?"... and "When will the repose of the dead come about, and when will the new world come?" Thomas 37, 51. At this time in history, Jesus said, "What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it," Thomas 51.

The corresponding passage in "The Revelation" replies, that "in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets...
that there should be time no longer," Revelation 10:5-7. This prophetic word may see a double fulfillment: Once when Jesus was on the earth, and then again in the saints at the end of the age. From the perspective of the end time saints, the question is asked, "When"  will all this happen, and when will we see? It happens "When" the seventh messenger (or angel) reveals the message of the seven thunders. Then the oppressive control system of this current world order can come to an end. Then the new world will arrive, and the repose of the dead will be made manifest.

When the 4th seal is broken, people begin to see that “a city being built on a high mountain and fortified cannot fall, nor can it be hidden," Thomas 32. For "no one lights a lamp and puts it under a bushel, nor does he put it in a hidden place,"  Thomas 33. You are that city of light for all to see, and Jesus is the light above us all,  Matthew 5:14, Thomas 77. The message of the 4th day is that Revelation and insight is come, and is now available for humankind. Darkness may  endure for the night, but still the light can not remain hidden by death or even by hell. The light has been set on a lampstand for all the earth to see. Based on the words of Jesus in saying 51, these realizations are sometimes called The Keys of the Kingdom

When the Lamb “opens the fourth seal, (then) the fourth beast (declares), Come and see.

And when you look, God's thunders his answer to the disciple's question Will you become revealed… (and) shall we see you?" God says, Let there be lights in the firmament… And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,”
Genesis 1:14-15. Like the disciples, do you want to be able to see? "The Lamb which is in the midst of the throne... shall lead... unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from (your) eyes," Revelation 7:17.

God has set a lamp up on a lampstand so that all may see its light,
Thomas 33.  You are the light of the world. You are a source of light. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden…  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven,” Matthew 5:14-16, 1 Peter 2:12.

God is ever present, but Jesus said,
“There will be days when you will look for me and will not find me," Thomas 38.   And so, God has made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night.  For “the night cometh, when no man can work,” John 9:4. And the moon was set into the firmament, or the place of authority, to rule during the night that is coming. And God saw that it was good.”

The two lights were given to divide the day from the night. Even as the sword, and as the firmament both create divisions, so too, the lights which are set into the firmament also create a division. When the light of the moon overtakes and outshines the light of the sun, you will know the night has come, and it is your time to shine. Understand what is being said. When the forth seal is broken…  power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.   On the forth day, insight and power was given, Matthew 28:18. Make the two one. What you look forward to has already come. Come and see. You will be troubled. You will be amazed. You will rule, and you will find rest.

SECTION 5. PARALLEL TEXTS IN REVELATION, THOMAS, AND GENESIS:

The Fifth Seal mentioned in John's Revelation explains the
Fifth Section within Thomas,
the questions of the disciples, and the answers of God during
the Fifth Day of Genesis.
(Genesis 1:20-23, Revelation 6:9-11, Thomas 52-64, Revelation 10:8-13:18)

The fifth seal of Revelation

"And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled," Revelation 6:9-11.

The fifth seal in the Testimony of Jesus

His disciples said to him, "When will the repose of the dead come about, and when will the new world come?"
He said to them, "What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it," Thomas 51.

His disciples said to him, "Twenty-four prophets spoke in Israel, and all of them spoke in you."
He said to them, "You  have omitted     the one living in your presence and have spoken     (only) of the dead," Thomas 52.

The Questions of the Disciples on the Fifth Day

His disciples said to him, "Is circumcision beneficial or not?" Thomas 53.
Salome said, "Who are you, man, that you... have come up on my couch and eaten from my table?" Thomas 61.

5. What does it sound like when God answers the questions of the disciples?

A. His disciples ask... "Is circumcision beneficial or not?"
(Circumcision is often understood as the destruction of the flesh)
A. God created the animal flesh and answers... "It was good."
Even Paul explains, "Circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law," Romans 2:25.

B.
Salome asks, "Who are you, man...?"
B. God answers, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life,
    and
fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven Genesis 1:20.

The fifth day of Genesis
20. And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day, Genesis 1:20-23.

5. What is being revealed in the Fifth Day, the Fifth Seal, and the Fifth Thunder?

A Summary:

The fourth section of the little scroll ends with the question: When?
"When will the repose of the dead come about, and when will the new world come?" Thomas 51The fifth seal in the Book of Revelation begins with a very similar question, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? Revelation 6:10. The disciples were concerned about suffering and injustice. Responding to this concern, Jesus showed his disciples a unique perspective, "Blessed is the man who has suffered and found life," Thomas 58.

Perhaps, since men do not yet see that the repose of the dead has already come, the answer is given within “The Book of Revelation” that “they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled,” Revelation 6:11. And then after the two witnesses, representing the two branches of the church, perhaps the circumcision and the uncircumcision, are killed and resurrected, then we finally read, "We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned... and the time of the dead (is come), that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints," Revelation 11:17-18.

This sense of longing and waiting that the disciples experienced points us to the climax of the Gospel of Thomas. The message of the pinacle of the outer chiasm is especially for these who have perhaps lacked a fulfilled perspective, and have felt their need. In the fifth section within the book of revelation
Jesus had said to them, "What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it," Thomas 51. All that is needed, and all that is desired has already come, but the fulfillment, or the experience of this kingdom life seems to be hidden until we make the inside like the outside. For these ones, who had experienced a deficiency and felt their need, Jesus showed the way of renunciation saying, "Whoever does not hate his father and his mother cannot become a disciple to me. And whoever does not hate his brothers and sisters and take up his cross in my way will not be worthy of me," Thomas 55. Are you feeling the emptiness?

We must break from this world, and discover the life God has already given.

Then we will bring forth that which is within us, Thomas 45, 70.
God said, "Let the waters bring forth abundantly... life," Genesis 1:20.
We are the waters that must manifest that which is within us.

And so, and for this reason, we have be given us the revelation
that we need to see this kingdom,
even as Jesus
"was given some of the things of (his) father," Thomas 61. Even as Jesus received the Testimony from his Father, we too have been given The Testimony of Jesus, Revelation 12:11.
These are the tools we need to enter into the kingdom, and this is the message that gives us the life to make this happen, John 6:63.

And John writes about these tools saying, “The books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life (i.e. the book that gives life)… and the sea gave up the dead which were in it,” Revelation 20:13.
And God created… every living creature. Indeed God says on the fifth day, “ Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life,”  The waters of confusion will give up their dead, and the waters of life will bring forth life.

John saw  the souls of them that were slain still under the altar. But perhaps,
you can see the one living in your presence" who through his word, and though his testimony gives life and will give life to the dead. Men do not always see this transformation, but Jesus saw the kingdom which was already come. In the beginning God saw that it was good, and then it was very good. And Jesus knew that in the end, it would be made perfect and completely profitable.

Jesus, and by extension his body, is the kingdom that though already here is still continuously growing, Isaiah 9:7. The message of the little scroll given to Jesus is a call to look past that which is dead, to that which gives life and makes perfect and complete. Jesus said, "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you . For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest,” Thomas 5.

Jesus said, "Take heed of the living one while you are alive, lest you die and seek to see him and be unable to do so," Thomas 59. Are you still asking when the repose will come? Jesus says, start now, "look for a place for yourself within repose, lest you (too) become a corpse," Thomas 60.

Concerning mankind's ongoing sense of lack Jesus gave us a clear pedagogy, "If one who knows the all still feels a personal deficiency, he is completely deficient."
Thomas 67. To those still living in deficiency Jesus implied that although a physical circumcision may not be beneficial, a spiritual circumcision of the heart is completely profitable, Thomas 53, Romans 3:30

The words of Jesus, which were written in the Little scroll, are The Living Waters that give life. Jesus declares, "they are spirit and they are life." John wrote, “He shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,” Revelation 22:1. And he said unto me, “These sayings are faithful and true,” and they make all things new, Revelation 22:6.

Jesus said, "Whoever finds the meaning of these sayings will not experience death," Thomas 1.

When Solome asks,
"Who are you, man?" God gives us a picture of the living Jesus and reminds us of what we will become... because of the life he gives. God answers, "Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life," and "every living creature that moveth," Genesis 1:20, 24, 28.

Stated simply, Let the waters give and bring forth life within us, and all around us, Thomas 3.

The living words of the living Jesus which give life are encapsulated in the simple phrase: "When you make the two one, and when you make… the above like the below… then will you enter the kingdom."

The souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus were… under the altar, but perhaps like the fowl that God created good, they too may one day "fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven,"
Genesis 1:20.  Jesus said, “When you make the two one, and when you make… the above like the below… then will you enter the kingdom."

The Testimony of Jesus is a message of love, life, and reconciliation. Even the varied and divided messages of the prophets must be brought to life by uniting them with the message of Jesus. When the disciples spoke of the Twenty-four prophets that spoke in Israel, Jesus explained they were speaking only of the dead. Many of them died not having seen the promises. However, in contrast, when we speak of those who were slain for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus, we might hear Jesus say "Blessed is the man who has suffered and found life," Thomas 58.

From the perspective of the living Jesus, "Blessed are the poor," Thomas 54. "These have power," Revelation 11:6.

For those who are concerned about death, again, Jesus might say,
"Take heed of the living one while you are alive, lest you die and seek to see him and be unable to do so." We must focus on hearing the words of God spoken through the lips of Jesus. The words of God will produce life within us, and all around us, transforming all we see and hear.  God said, “Let the waters bring forth… life… And (thus) God created… (the) living creature.”

When will the repose of the dead come about?
For those who are still waiting Jesus might say, "Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left," Matthew 24:40. "Two will rest on a bed: the one will die, and the other will live," Thomas 61. But whoever finds the interpretation of the sayings will not experience death, Thomas 1.

Jesus is our example. He shows us the way to overcome death. "Our Lord was crucified," Revelation11:8.  In the same way, Jesus exhorts the seeker "
take up (the) cross in my way" Thomas 55. We don't have to wait. We can do this now. We can make a clean break. Take up the cross in His way.

For those with eyes to see, on the fifth day, h
aving made peace through the blood of his cross, Jesus said, "It is finished." This was the work of God by him to reconcile all things into one in himself, Colossians 1:20. This is the mystery of Christ fulfilled in the dispensation of the fulness of times that he might gather together in one all things in Christ, Ephesians 1:10. And now, when you make the two into one you will see what Jesus saw, and being made perfect and complete you will enter the kingdom.

SECTION 6. PARALLEL TEXTS IN REVELATION, THOMAS, AND GENESIS:

The Sixth Seal mentioned in John's Revelation explains the Sixth Section within Thomas,
the questions of the disciples, and the answers of God during
the Sixth Day of Genesis.
(Genesis 1:24-31, Revelation 6:12-17, Thomas 65-105, Revelation 14:1-21:4)

The sixth seal of Revelation

12. And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13. And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16. And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17. For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?  Revelation 6:12-17.

The sixth seal in the Testimony of Jesus

Jesus said, "A man had received visitors. And when he had prepared the dinner, he sent his servant to invite the guests.

He went to the first one and said to him, 'My master invites you.' He said, 'I have claims against some merchants. They are coming to me this evening. I must go and give them my orders. I ask to be excused from the dinner.'

He went to another and said to him, 'My master has invited you.' He said to him, 'I have just bought a house and am required for the day. I shall not have any spare time.'

He went to another and said to him, 'My master invites you.' He said to him, 'My friend is going to get married, and I am to prepare the banquet. I shall not be able to come. I ask to be excused from the dinner.'

He went to another and said to him, 'My master invites you.' He said to him, 'I have just bought a farm, and I am on my way to collect the rent. I shall not be able to come. I ask to be excused.'

The servant returned and said to his master, 'Those whom you invited to the dinner have asked to be excused.' The master said to his servant, 'Go outside to the streets and bring back those whom you happen to meet, so that they may dine.' Businessmen and merchants will not enter the places of my father," Thomas 64.

He said, "There was a good man who owned a vineyard. He leased it to tenant farmers so that they might work it and he might collect the produce from them. He sent his servant so that the tenants might give him the produce of the vineyard. They seized his servant and beat him, all but killing him. The servant went back and told his master. The master said, 'Perhaps he did not recognize them.' He sent another servant. The tenants beat this one as well. Then the owner sent his son and said, 'Perhaps they will show respect to my son.' Because the tenants knew that it was he who was the heir to the vineyard, they seized him and killed him. Let him who has ears hear,"   Thomas 65.

The Questions of the Disciples on the Sixth Day

A. A man said...  "Tell my brothers to divide my father's possessions with me."
A. God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply

B. A woman from the crowd said...
"Blessed are the womb which bore you and the breasts which nourished you."
B. God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind."

C. They said, "Tell us who you are so that we may believe in you."
C. God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion."

D. They said... "Come, let us pray today and let us fast."
D.
God said, "I have given every green herb for meat"   Meat... meat

The sixth day of Genesis

24. And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
2:1. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them, Genesis 1:24-2:1.

6. What is being revealed in the Sixth Day, the Sixth Seal, and the Sixth Thunder?

A Summary:

The sixth seal is a warning about ignoring, or not recognizing, and not showing respect toward the message and the messengers of God.  God created man in his own image or "in the image of God." God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.  God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. However, the tenants who were entrusted with God's creation became disinterested, and wanted complete control for themselves, Thomas 65.

And so because of this rebellion,
out of the heart of carnal man whenever he opens his mouth, there is an inappropriate response to the working of God.  Man focuses on a world that is passing away. Man's concern is for wealth and possessions. (C.f. Thomas 100 / Revelation 20:4.) In this sixth section, one man is even heard openly complaining to Jesus  "Tell my brothers to divide my father's possessions with me," Thomas 72. In a direct challenge and rebuke to man's belief in scarcity and lack God is instructing mankind saying, "Be fruitful, and multiply," Genesis 1:28

However, maintaining this belief in scarcity, a woman from the crowd
focuses only on the physical when she says to Jesus, "Blessed are the womb which bore you and the breasts which nourished you." Jesus reproves her saying, "Blessed are those who have heard the word of the father and have truly kept it," Thomas 79. Like Jesus, God is trying to make us look deeper, and toward the spiritual abundance saying, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind," Genesis 1:24. There is a life within us that God wants us to manifest.

Trying to excuse their own unbelief and lack of insight the disciples ask, "Tell us who you are so that we may believe in you," Thomas 91. Jesus rebukes them saying, "you have not recognized the one who is before you." And God also rebukes the blindness of the disciples by pointing them to this perfected man who is made in His own image saying, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion,"
Genesis 1:26, Ephesians 5:32.

The disciples, sensing their failure and deficiency, come up with the typical religious response. They call out to Jesus, "Come, let us pray today and let us fast," Thomas 104. But God rebukes them saying,
"I have given every green herb for meat," Genesis 29. Again, Jesus tries to explain that they are operating in the wrong realm, Thomas 14.

Seeing all of this blindness, disrespect, and religious zealotry John beheld a sixth seal which was opened to correct the situation.

God had said, let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. There is a dominion under God, and a proper order, and a correct way that this dominion is to be exercised. The master entrusted this dominion to man the way a land owner might entrust the land to tenant farmers. And the master invited them to dine and partake of the fruits of the earth, but "they all with one consent began to make excuse," Luke 14:18.

God had said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat... I have given every green herb for meat. But the tenant farmers all with one consent began to say, "I shall not be able to come. I ask to be excused from the dinner... I shall not have any spare time." To this Jesus lamented that the "Businessmen and merchants will not enter the places of my Father," Thomas 64.

Full of excuses, all of humankind was rejecting God's invitation.

On this sixth day God created man, but then man rejected the the divine purpose and all that God had created, and chose instead to receive a much inferior fallen realm. We rejected Christ and chose the beast. Jesus said, "Show me the stone which the builders have rejected. That one is the cornerstone," Thomas 66. John wrote, "If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God," Revelation 14:9.  And so now we are suffering and crying out for relief. In the sixth section of the Book of Revelation God addresses this situation directly. Pouring out his divine displeasure, He brings destruction on this fallen world system in order to re-create a more perfect world, and to restore to man that which he had lost.

This wrath of God is a violent passionate pursuit of mankind that destroys anything standing in the way of fellowship. That emptiness you feel inside is deep calling unto deep. It is the divine displeasure concerning the separation.
Jesus said, "If one who knows the all still feels a personal deficiency, he is completely deficient," Thomas 67. John in the revelation explains that this emptiness and separation from the rest of creation is heard in heaven like a cry for help, and we read, "Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe," When you feel the complete deficiency most acutely, then the grapes of the grapevine that have grown up outside of the father will be fully ripe, and the time of the harvest will come. In this sixth section there is a clue that this harvest is not just to destroy the the separation, but also to repair the breach.  Jesus says, "The harvest is great but the laborers are few. Beseech the Lord, therefore, to send out laborers to the harvest," Thomas 73. Where? Out. Why?  Because, "the winepress (is) trodden outside the city," Revelation 14:20.

Carnal man often perceives this fallen world as if this was the way it always was, and the way it alway will be. In our ignorance, humankind looks for fleshly solutions to the emptiness, and even celebrates this fallen world often thinking perhaps, that it will provide the answers. Again, the woman from the crowd maintained such an earthly perspective, crying out to Jesus, "Blessed are the womb which bore you and the breasts which nourished you,"
Thomas 79.  In the related passages both Jesus and John rebuke her. Jesus replies, yea rather, "Blessed are those who have heard the word of the father and have truly kept it." John is even harsher, suggesting that such an earthly perspective aligns us with "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH," Revelation 17:5 / Thomas 79. God is growing a kingdom that will destroy any such opposition and our attachment to it.

The divide and conquer solutions of the earthly kings has not worked, but God has a solution

Jesus said, "The kingdom of the father is like a certain man who wanted to kill a powerful man. In his own house he drew his sword and stuck it into the wall in order to find out whether his hand could carry through. Then he slew the powerful man," Thomas 98. This sword in the hand of Jesus and his people will cut through the walls of division, Hebrews 4:12. Concerning this passage within The Little Scroll, John writes of the contrast between those who have the sword of the spirit in their hand, and those who have the mark of the beast in their hand. The beast and the kings of the earth gather their forces together against the Christ, but we read that the one on the white horse, "
he slew the powerful man," Thomas 98 / Revelation 19:19-21.

God had said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature... and said to those he had entrusted with the earth, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion...  over every living thing that moveth upon the earth, but we rejected this responsibility, Genesis 1:28, Thomas 64.

And so, in love God responds to all this rejection and ill treatment. Judgment to save comes even upon the earth
"As a fig tree casteth her untimely figs," so also "every mountain and island were moved out of their places," Revelation 6:14. John writes in the revelation, "there was a great earthquake... (and the divine response was so horrific to the natural minded man that) the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men... hid themselves... And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb." Even the servants and the bondmen cried out.

The tenants in the story knew what they were doing against the Creator. For this reason John declares, "the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

This judgment is not bad news. The power of the enemy is destroyed, and the restoration continues.

Jesus speaks of the time "When the bridegroom leaves the bridal chamber." John in a similar fashion writes of "the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven," Revelation 21:2 / Thomas 104. This is very good news. He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit, 1 Corinthians 6:17. When you make the two one, then you will enter the kingdom, Thomas 22, 106.

Let him who has ears, hear.

For when the seventh day comes, then there is silence.

SECTION 7. PARALLEL TEXTS IN REVELATION, THOMAS, AND GENESIS:

The Seventh Seal mentioned in John's Revelation explains the Seventh Section within Thomas, the questions of the disciples, and the answers of God during the Seventh Day of Genesis.
(Genesis 2:1-3, Revelation 8:1-6, 16:1, Thomas 106-114, Revelation 21:5-22:20)

The seventh seal of Revelation

8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. 8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. 8:5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. Revelation 16:1.

The seventh seal in the Testimony of Jesus

Jesus said, "He who knows the father and the mother will be called the son of a harlot," Thomas 105.

Jesus said, "When you make the two one, you will become the sons of man, and when you say, 'Mountain, move away,' it will move away," Thomas106.

The Questions of the Disciples on the Seventh Day

His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"
Thomas 113. It comes on the seventh day... the seventh day.

The seventh day of Genesis

2:2. “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made;  and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

2:3. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made,” Genesis 2:2-3.

Some people may find it easier to see the connections
within these passages colour coded within the chart below.
I have also included the corresponding seventh section of "The Book of  Revelation".
(For the diligent student, a similar comparison could be created for the first six sections.)

The seventh seal in the Testimony of Jesus

Jesus said,
"He who knows the father and the mother will be called the son of a harlot," Thomas 105.

Jesus said, "When you make the two one, you will become the sons of man, and when you say, 'Mountain, move away,' it will move away," Thomas 106.

(106) Jesus said, "When you make the two one, you will become the sons of man, and when you say, 'Mountain, move away,' it will move away."
(107) Jesus said, "
The kingdom is like a shepherd who had a hundred sheep. One of them, the largest, went astray. He left the ninety-nine sheep and looked for that one until he found it. When he had gone to such trouble, he said to the sheep, 'I care for you more than the ninety-nine.'"
(108) Jesus said, "He who will drink from my mouth will become like me. I myself shall become he, and the things that are hidden will be revealed to him."
(109) Jesus said, "The kingdom
is like a man who had a hidden treasure in his field without knowing it. And after he died, he left it to his son. The son did not know (about the treasure). He inherited the field and sold it. And the one who bought it went plowing and found the treasure. He began to lend money at interest to whomever he wished."
(110) Jesus said, "Whoever finds the world and becomes rich, let him renounce the world."
(111) Jesus said, "The heavens and the earth will be rolled up in your presence. And the one who lives from the living one will not see death." Does not Jesus say, "Whoever finds himself is superior to the world?"

----------------

(112) Jesus said, "Woe to the flesh that depends on the soul; woe to the soul that depends on the flesh."

(113) His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"
<Jesus said,> "It will not come by waiting for it. It will not be a matter of saying 'here it is' or 'there it is.' Rather, the kingdom of the father is spread out upon the earth, and men do not see it."

(114) Simon Peter said to him, "Let Mary leave us, for women are not worthy of life."
Jesus said, "I myself shall lead her in order to make her male, so that she too may
become a living spirit resembling you males. For every woman who will make herself male
will enter the kingdom of heaven."
21:5  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 21:15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.  21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 21:26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
------------------------
22:1  And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. 22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

7. What is being revealed in the Seventh Day, the
Seventh Seal, and the Seventh Thunder?

A Summary:

The seventh day and the seven seals announce the message of God's efforts for His creation and its restoration, and then declares His final victory and rest. Again the question is asked, "When?"
When will the kingdom come? Genesis declares, "On the seventh day" And again with emphasis on "the seventh day."    When will the kingdom come?  When you make the two one... when you say, 'Mountain, move away,' it will move away," Thomas 106. There is an effort involved on our part, but is is an effort that is orchestrated by the shepherd. He is a faithful creator, who is faithful to restore that which he has created, and all that have strayed, 1 Peter 4:19. "When he had gone to such trouble, he said to the sheep, 'I care for you more than the ninety-nine," Thomas 107.   And "When he had gone to such trouble," "then ... He... rested from ALL his work which God created and MADE.” Genesis 2:2.

The key words here are "
ALL his work which God CREATED and MADE," Genesis 2:2-3. Within this last section of the little scroll side by side with the seventh day in Genesis we read that this is when we finally "MAKE the two one... (and when he) MAKE(s) her male... (and she) MAKES herself male... and they become one and the same, then the heavens and the earth were finished... (and all that) he had MADE... and (all that) God created and made (is perfected)." That which was originally created good became very good, and is finally made perfect, Genesis 1:31. "He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful," Revelation 21:5.

On the seventh day "the heavens and the earth were finished." And after the Seventh Seal is opened then Jesus says, "The heavens and the earth will be rolled up in your presence. And the one who lives from the living one will not see death." Does not Jesus say,  "Whoever finds himself is superior to the world?” Thomas 111.

Put it all together. "Whoever finds the interpretation of these sayings will not experience death, Let him who seeks continue seeking (truth) until he finds," Thomas 1-2
"There shall in no wise enter into (the city) any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life," Revelation 21:27.

The seven seals of the Book are opening. Can you see yourself in this book. Can you see yourself in the city?

"Whosoever loveth and maketh a lie," remains on the outside. But even then and still, "the Spirit and the bride say, 'Come.' And let him that heareth say, 'Come.' And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely," Revelation 22:17. "For the moment they are intoxicated. (But) when they shake off their wine, then they will repent." Thomas 28. Jesus himself promises, "I myself shall lead," Thomas 114. For He that sits upon the throne hath said, "I make all things new."

The seventh section in Thomas, as it aligns with the days of Genesis 1, repeatedly mentions man. We see man... man... men... women... males... woman... and male repeatedly. The seventh section in The Book of Revelation and Genesis 1 also both repeatedly refer to the heavens and the earth. On this day the tension and the separation between male and female is finally resolved and the two are reconciled into one. This reconciliation is seen growing step by step, from the smallest interactions, to the grandest visions. This reconciliation is most fully understood if the heavens above are recognized as the male, and the earth is seen as the female. Jesus declares that as it was in the beginning, it will be in the end, Thomas 18. The process of transformation is seen first in the micro and then in the macro. In the BEGINNING God created... On the seventh day God ENDED his work which he had made," Genesis 1:1, 2:2. This ongoing process of reconciliation is described best at the end of "The Book of Revelation."  John describes the male and the female working in harmony, "The Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely," Revelation 22:17. What is happening is awe inspiring.

The seventh day in Genesis is the only day that God does not speak, and there is
Silence:  "When he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour," Revelation 8:1.

Then as the seven angel speaks and the seventh seal is opened "there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake," Revelation 8:6.
Previously, "the seven thunders had uttered their voices", and John was told to seal up these many voices till the time of the end," Revelation 10:4. As the seventh seal begins to open, we begin to understand the seven thunders and the seven voices, in a new way. As the the seventh day begins, "in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets," Revelation 10:7. That which was sealed is revealed.

By including the seventh section of "The Book of Revelation" into the color coded comparison chart above additional layers of insight into all of this can be seen. The mysteries that were purposely hidden for our own protection, can now begin to be made known.

For example, John's elaboration on the extreme efforts the shepherd takes to recover the lost sheep may be surprising.  Jesus says, "One of (the sheep), the largest, went astray. He (the shepherd) left the ninety-nine sheep and looked for that one until he found it," Thomas 107
John writes, apparently speaking of the lost sheep being recovered, saying, "The fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death," Revelation 21:9. (C.f. Thomas and Revelation side by side.)

In Thomas, Jesus says, "When you make the two one, you will become the sons of man, and when you say, 'Mountain, move away,' it will move away," Thomas 106. In "The Book of Revelation," Jesus explains how and when this happens, saying "I make all things new... these words are true and faithful... It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely, Luke 16:24. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son," Revelation 21:6-7. You become the sons of men on the seventh day, when you drink from
the fountain of the water of life freely, that you might overcome by making the two (i.e. the inside and outside, the male and the female, and the above and the below) all into one.

On the seventh day, the many voices and the many waters join together in one, into the one
fountain of the water of life.

In "The Book of Revelation", "The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues,"
Revelation 17:15. The many waters and the many voices, even those carrying their own version of the gospel, can eventually become a source of confusion. Though there have been many gospels and many messages, there was originally only one gospel, the message of Jesus. On the seven day, we see the answer to the plea, "Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment," 1 Corinthians 1:10.

And this is how it happens. John writes, "He shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations," Revelation  22:1-2.

When the Gospel of Christ is restored to the earth on the seventh day, then the original source and inspiration for all these many Gospels is restored, and all these messages can be realigned with the original message of Jesus. When all these scriptures are all rightly divided, then they can be rejoined to the original, and properly interpreted for the first time since the confusion imposed by Mystery Babylon. For the first time, in perhaps centuries or even millennia, we can begin to
speak the same thing, being perfectly joined together in the same mind...  being joined together with the mind and teaching of Christ.

Can you hear the soft voice of the seventh angel beginning to sound? John heard it, and he wrote saying, "When the seven thunders had sounded... I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up what the seven thunders have said, ... but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished," Revelation 10:4-6.

The Seven Thunders are the Voice of God. The message of Jesus is the final message that unites it all.

Side by Side, Hear God's response as He Declares with "One Voice."
A Stern and Perfect Rebuke to the "Many Voices" of the Disciples of Jesus.
"The disciples asked" (In Thomas) ... "And God Said" (In Genesis 1).
And Jesus brings the two together.

On the seventh day, we see the Lightning Light up the Heavens and the Earth,
As the Disciples Run and then Fly with their message, Revelation 14:6.

When you make the many voices into one... and when you make the two one,
then you will become the sons of man, and you will enter the kingdom! Thomas 22,106.

On the seventh day, "the things that are hidden will be revealed," Thomas 107. John is told, "I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife,"
Revelation 21:9. On the seventh day she is made whole and complete in him. On the seventh day we are shown who we really are. This is revolutionary. Jesus taught, "When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living father... and you will rule over the all," Thomas 2-3.

On the Seventh Day Jesus says, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end," Revelation
21:6. Perhaps it is on this day that we begin to realize that "where the beginning is, there will the end be. (For) blessed is he who will take his place in the beginning; he will know the end and will not experience death," Thomas 18. As the seventh and last day transitions back into the first day, then perhaps we will see who we once were in the Beginning.

On the seventh day, we are shown who we truly are, and we experience the power to fulfill our responsibilities, and we are able to enter into the kingdom. On the seven day, we don't have to rely on the many voices.
Jesus himself says, "I myself shall lead," Thomas 114. And then joined together as One with Jesus "The Spirit and the bride say, Come," Revelation 22:17. And the nations come into the city.

You are that city, Matthew 5:14.

And "the nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it." Revelation 21:24 -26. And then "when all things are subjected to (Christ), then the Son himself will also be subjected to (the Father) who put all things under him, that God may be everything to every one," 1 Corinthians 15:28.

And it all starts with you taking up your cross in his way, Thomas 55.
Make the two into One. If any one will, let him come and see.
I give you The key to the Kingdom.
