DCROA TRAIL RIDE
Trail Rides are OPEN to ALL Breeds of Horses.
WILBURTON, OKLAHOMA

LOCATION: Hickory Creek Farm, Wilburton, OK
FEES:
$45 per person – own horse
$10 off DCROA Members
Ride is limited to 50 participants. Fee includes lunch and trail ride.
Deadline to register is November 1, 2009.
BACKGROUND:
Riders will enjoy trail riding through the Kiamichi Mountains. There are numerous trees and varied terrain.
ITINERARY:
Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the
Ride leaving base camp at 10 a.m.
Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.
DIRECTIONS:
From Highway 270 in Wilburton: Take Highway 2 south at the Choctaw Travel Plaza. Travel approximately five miles and turn left onto Hulsey Prairie Road. Travel four miles to a crossroad. Travel straight and road turns into gravel. Go approximately three miles to the Y and take the left spur. Go 7/10 of a mile and Hickory Creek Farm Recreation Area is on the left.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE:
Limited number of primitive RV hook-ups with electricity only for $15 per night or primitive camping for $5 per night, restrooms, water for horses and trailer tie-up is permitted. There are additional hook-ups available at Robbers Cave State Park in Wilburton.
HORSE HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
Negative Coggins must be presented upon check-in.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
All DCROA Trail Rules apply, in addition to Hickory Creek Farm Trail Rules.
