It was something the whole world dreaded, but had been expecting for some time. Tired of the same old "Bring so-and-so back to life" or "Grant me immortality" the Eternal Dragon was bored. However, most people either thought he was just a myth or couldn't appear without being summoned.
They were wrong.
That day dawned normally enough, but by an hour after sunrise all the dinosaurs were in hiding and lizards roamed freely in the cities. An hour or so later, the sightings began. For that day, all Elvis and UFO sightings were replaced and topped 10 times over by Eternal Dragon sightings. The supermarket tabloids read "Lady Has Affair With Eternal Dragon and Tells All" and "Lady Gives Birth to two Headed Baby With an Eternal Dragon Head."
At noon it seemed as if it might be over, then the sky went pitch black except for the fierce lightning...
