We start from May 1997, anything before that is rather boring and

no use of telling. At that point there where 4 members, Fredrik

Lundquist on guitar, Jocke Svensson also on guitar, Kristian Persson

on Bass, Gustav Hjortsjo on drums, and noone on vocals. We called

ourself Nataz back then. Sometime at that period we got a singer,

Axel Theorin. We rehearsed the whole summer and wrote four songs.

Our bassplayer was on vacation the whole summer so Jocke took

over the bass while he was away. When Kristian got back from the

vacation we noticed that he just couldn`t play the new songs, so to be

able to progress we decided to kick him sometime in July. Now with

Jocke on bass we wrote the lyrics to the four songs "Deathknight

Invasion" "Knightmare" "Wizard of Darkness" and "Sword". We

changed our name to Lelldorin, and in August we recorded those four

songs and released a Demo which was limited to 24x.

We played about three gigs with those four songs in sept-oct. A gig

that can be mentioned was at the Araby school which were, and still

is the most boring place to play at!

Near x-mas we had some new songs and our singer Axel come up

with a new name: Swords of Destiny, our music was a lot of 80`s then

so it suited us fine. A funny thing was at our only gig under the name

Swords Of Destiny, and the last with Axel was that we had written

S.O.D on our flyer, and people thought that the Grindcore-legends

"Stormtroopers of Death" would play in Vaxjo! We had noticed that

Axel started to sing higher than he was able too, and that he couldn`t

remember the lyrics. So Gustav, our drummer started to hate him a

lot after that gig. Axel also started to behave like it was "his" band. In

February 1998 we started to record 8 songs for our next demo, and

themusic-part was finished in two weeks. Axel had started to be

away from the rehearsals, and in the middle of March he had only put

vocals on 2 songs! Jocke and Gustav had hated him since February

and now Fredrik realised that a band can`t have a singer that sings

Metal like Celine Dion, and never rehearses so we kicked Axel at

that time. The demo was never finished...

In April Gustav got an Iron Cobra, a double-pedal and we started to

play more aggressive. We searched for a singer and started to play

Death/Trash fulltime. In the summer we got tired of searching for a

replacer for Axel, so Fredrik took over the mic and started to growl

likea wicked and wrote lyrics for the new songs. We also changed

our name to Talion to really leave our former musicstyle behind. In

September we`d got 8 completely new songs finished and you

couldn`t hear that we once played 80`s metal exept from the melodic

parts. We recorded those songs in the studio at Norregard where we

rehearsed. It was a really rushed studiosession, mostly because of

Fredrik! Gustav wasn`t happy at all about the finished product,

aggressive as fuck, but not so tight that we usually are. So the

session remains in private! Or at the mp3z page for your (un)pleasure.

In early October 1998 we had our first gig since February with a

completely new style and as a trio. We never thought that we would

get any good critic, but even people that usually hate Aggromusic

came up and said that we were good!

In November we had our FIRST payed gig as opening act for two

crappy Hard Core bands, "Forced Into" and "Two Thirds", at the

"Elevenyard" here in Vaxjo.

In may 99 we played our best gig this far, infront of our biggest audience

yet. Then one month later we played "For Peace On Balkan" infront of like 15

people as last band on the set. It went ok even if it was extremely cold that

night and the fingers felt like some icy stones. After that we entered the

NMK studio in August -99 once again and started to record

"The Silence" session. We thought about sending the tape around but we

killed that idea because of the usual reason, NOT TIGHT ENOUGH!

Thatīs why itīs only available from our site.

In late December at the first rehearsal with Erik, he joined early December

but didnīt play with us until that day,all of Fredrikīs effects was stolen by

some fuckinī assholes. After that we searched for our own place.

Two weeks later we played our last gig as a trio in Kalmar supporting

Excubitor, a doom band, infront of an extremely boring audience, except

our new member Erik and his friend Matz who ruled in the four men big(?)

mosh pit. Check out the gallery for the concert pictures.

Year 2k then, well Fredrik got a wonderful girlfriend named Monika who

will do some singing on our next demo, and he got some money from his insurance

company and got into a shop with Erik and bought some good Behringer FX.

Jocke bought a bass and continued to love his girl Ellen, and started to dissapear from

parties way too early, or didnīt show up at all. Gustav bought his Tama kit and are

still smiling. After that we moved into our new home at BG. Now as a quartet we started

to rearrange the three songs we had worked with since july 99 and we are currently

working on the forth and final song on our new release. The four new songs are

much longer, more progressive and much harder to play, and proparbly harder to

listen at. We realised that we could do some real tecnical shit and thatīs why

we donīt do the blastbeat all the time anymore. Think of it as a fusion between

At The Gates, for the death/thrash melodic bits, and Death and some Dream Theater

for the tecnical parts and you will have a quite good explaination of our current sound.

Erik will proparbly buy a Gibson Les Paul and Fredrik has finally started to play solos.

We have currently taken a brake in practice due to Gustav visiting USA,

Erik and Fredrik are working in sthlm and Jocke is all left alone in the rotten

city of Växjö. We Will continue writing the last bits in early August -00.

Late September now, and still no demo recorded. Fredriks life is a mess as usual

at this time of year, donīt know how he and Monika will turn out, she will do

some singing either way though. A good thing about Fredriks confusion is that he

have started to write lyrics again, and the next demo will have a concept theme.

"The Contradiction Of A Cynic" will proparbly be the title. And guess what, still no

happy lyrics. Jocke, Gustav and Erik are all taking pianolessons in school and Fredrik

is goofing around with a synth and cubase at home. So the next demo might feature

some sick keyboardwork, but you never know, do you? We have contact with

a guy from GARF named Tore Larson, and itīs his "fault" that we are playing as

main act at Uffes November the 25th infront of people from Record Heaven. He liked

the demo, and he liked Eriks description of our new sound. We managed to blow

a fuse in our rathole at BG last week, now, are we hard or what!?

The gig at gustavlund was a total disaster. We planned to play in skimasks but we were

to lazy to buy any. Our primary objective was succesful though. Act as real arseholes!

We came, we hardly said anything to noone, we played... very bad, we left.

Poor Exceptions had built the whole "stage", set up the lights, and loaned all gear.

We didnīt do a shit. We just played our role as supportact and that was it, and even though

we played our worst concert yet, we still didnīt came close to suck as much as Exceptions.

Life is cruel isnīt it...

It’s May now, and we have written 6 new songs. We did a gig at our former base, Norregård, with

Reaping Chaos, Litania and the Cult-band Solsken, that had reformed for a night.

This weekend we played at Böksholms Festivalen, as opening band, and it sucked big time.

Nothing worked at all, we didn’t hear a shit on stage, a good thing though is that the arrangers

didn’t make it, if you look at the economic side, hehe, that’s what happen when you

try to stop us!

All the lyrics for the new songs are written, 5 by Fredrik and the last one by Joakim.

The first 3 songs are concept-lyrics and will be released on our forthcoming minicd

”The Contradiction Of A Cynic”

This realese is like I said a concept thing, and will feature our three proggy ones, in chronical order

”Emotional Collapse”

 ”Labyrinth Of Time”

”Conradictions”

The lyrics are as black as ever and they will be posted some week on the lyric page.

If you want to know what goes around in Fredriks head, check them out.

Now for the really fine thing, we play insane Death/Thrash again!!!

More brutal then ever, and with influences from power violence, grindcore and crust

Our new material really rocks. In four months we have completed 3 compositions

That are our most agressive songs to date. No more proggy shit, just pure insanity!

The technical shit is still there, but the riffs are mainly more right in your fuckinī face!

The grinding bits and the punk-vibes did a remarkable thing for our music. It’s fun

To play again, and we are jam-writing almost all material, instead of individual riffmaking.

These 3 neckbreaking compositions will be released on our second minicd to come.

Nonamed yet, but check back for news about the title.

The Songs featured will be:

”Purpose: None”

”No Regression”

”Endeavour For Putrefaction”

Our plan for world-domination is at the moment to release two minicds at the same time.

One soft for the weak of heart, and one killer for the dead. Nothing can stop us now!

All we have to do is to find a studio and record all of them…damnit…

The Lyrics for these 3 new songs will also be posted soon on the lyricpage.

A major update in the graphic department of the page is coming up, as well as the infamous

Question-answer shit on the members-page.

Some new photos from our last three gigs will be posted to, as soon as I get them…
