Screw the fans! Nick doesn't like them anyway! So this song would have been about him. He thinks he is larger than life, so why not sing about it?
I Want It That Way:
This would have been called "I want it Howie's way" for obvious reasons. Nick wants everything Howie's way. Don't ask me why. He just does...
Show Me the Meaning of being Lonely:
Would have been called "Show me the Meaning of being horny". You see, Brian tempts Nick so much. Just by standing there, Nick gets turned on...and he doesn't like it, so he runs to Howie. Brian shows him the meaning of being horny
It's Gotta Be You:
Obviously..."It's gotta be Rok". Nick has some kind of unrequited love for Brian. Why not sing about it?
I need you Tonight:
Nick did get his way on this one! It's his anthem to Brian. "Open up your heart to me..." I guess the guys were sick of hearing him whine so they put it on the album...
Don't Want you Back:
Nick wanted this to be for Lou Pearlman. He stole all of Nick's pizza, so Nick DOES NOT want him back. Anyone who takes Nick's pizza is a GONE!
Don't wanna lose you now:
Howie can get very jealous when he sees Nick staring longingly at Brian's beautiful body. Nick doesn't want Howie to leave him. Then he wouldn't be getting any! So he wants this song to be for him. (But he still loves Brian)
The One:
This was again about Nick. Since he thinks he is God (see "Did he actually say that"), he figured he is The One.
Back to Your Heart:
Nick wanted to do a song called "Back to Loreal". See...Cover Girl gave him a nasty rash. Really...it was gross. So he had to switch brands again. Kevin didn't think this was appropriate so "Back to Your Heart" was put on instead
Spanish Eyes:
Speaks for itself. This is Howie's anthem. "When I look into your spanish eyes..."
No One Else Comes Close:
This is Brian's anthem. No one else comes close to him. No one knows this better than Nick. However, the words had to be changed around to make it more appropriate.
The Perfect Fan:
Nick saw the word "perfect" in this and immediately thought Brian wrote him a song! But no...it wasn't about him. It was about their moms...poor Nick
