Blue Max is not your average Autobot...
Physically, Blue Max appears very like a gangly human teenager of 14 or 15. He's tall, on the thin side, and seems very much like a young adolescent.
In vehicle mode, he is a black 1941 Mercedes--and he has almost no concept whatsoever of how to drive.
He has simple stealth capabilities which allow him to slip in and out of areas undetected.
Blue Max sees wonder in all things. He craves approval and recognition from everyone save, oddly enough, Rodimus Prime, who he prefers to avoid. The other Autobots see him as a youth and treat him accordingly. For the most part, his behaviour fulfills that role. He's often assigned to babysit Daniel and Wheelie in the heat of battle.
But there is another side to Blue Max...
His military capabilites are far too advanced for his age. Although he is not particularily strong or fast, he is devilishly cunning and exhibits a ruthless streak that is almost Decepticon-like. He prefers not to get personally involved in conflicts with the Decepticons. He harbours a ruthless hatred of the Quintessons.
Kup is very nervous around Blue Max. "He reminds me of someone...I don't know who...but there's something creepy about that kid."
Aside from Daniel and Wheelie, Blue Max associates with Zodiac, Stormrave and Cavalier. Stormrave treats the little Autobot almost as an elder; Cavalier acts as if she'd prefer to have nothing to do with him.
