ALLEGIANCE: Decepticon
SUB-GROUP: Phoenix Corps
FUNCTION: Espionage/Sabotage/Sharpshooter
"Let's have some fun..."
Beretta, also known as "The Bird" because of her avian head, is Phoenix Corps' master spy. Her circuitry is that of the Rejected--a mix between Autobot and Decepticon--which enables her to slip past Autobot sensors right into Autobot bases. Her birdlike features are a dead giveaway to those who know her, but in auto mode, she can easily remain undetected.
But like all Rejected, Beretta has several unusual personality quirks. Her eccentricities are the reason she had no real friends before Phoenix Corps took her in. Her most obvious quirk is a tendency to express herself in whistling noises rather than speech (and only Deuce and Tempest seem able to translate these sounds). Beretta far prefers life in her automobile mode--that of a 1995 Chevrolet Beretta--and refuses to go anywhere without heavy metal music blasting out of her tape deck. Most of all, Beretta is a trickster with a rather cruel sense of humour. She loves to trick people and play nasty pranks. While Beretta is often thoughtless of her behaviour towards others, she is not sadistic or evil. If anyone ever died as a result of her jokes, it would be by carelessness or accident rather than design. Beretta is squeamish about causing physical injury, the result of the Autobot circuitry in her makeup.
ABILITIES: Beretta is a crack shot with her laser guns but rarely shoots to kill. In vehicle mode, her top speed is 220 mph and she has surprising endurance for a vehicle with her powerful engines. She can sneak through Autobot sensors undetected and is a master of espionage and computer hacking.
WEAKNESSES: Beretta's personality quirks are a dead giveaway to anyone who knows of her. She is strong for a sports car, but not that heavily armoured.

BERETTA'S THEME SONGS: "Fuel" by Metallica, "You Shook Me All Night Long" by AC/DC
BERETTA DOESN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT: In real life, her "whistling" noises are caused by twin deer whistles on the front bumper.
CREATING BERETTA: This is my RL car. No kidding. It's a 1995 Beretta named "The Metal Bird." It's possessed, too, and does all sorts of strange things like having the gas gauge run in reverse, locking the doors by itself, and refusing to play certain music tapes. Designing a character around it was easy.
