Deuce is the tallest and strongest of Kilairian Squadron and, at first glance, appears to be one of those robots with lots of brawn and not much brain.
It is an easy mistake to make.
Deuce is quiet and quick to obey, but his behaviour doesn't result from a lack of thoughts of his own. In fact, his mind is almost never still. Deuce is far more than just the heavy lifter of Phoenix Corps. He is capable of tasks ranging from field repairs to communications to navigation. His size and strength enable him to handle Phoenix Corps' heavy weaponry. His primary weapon is a large bazooka of similar caliber to Megatron's. He has also been known to carry a rocket launcher.
Deuce suffers from low self-esteem. As a heavy vehicle, he was landbound for most of his life and always slower than his winged Decepticon allies. Deuce struggled to compensate for his lack of speed by learning his myraid skills. Nevertheless, Deuce's original comrades abandoned him and he suffered a lonely life drifting around the galaxy until he met up with Tempest.
Deuce shares a special relationship with the prankster Beretta. He worships Tempest almost as a goddess. He craves Harrier's approval. He doesn't much care for Chopper's rebellious nature--why would anyone risk expulsion from the group?
While Deuce is an integral member of Phoenix Corps, he still fears that he will be abandoned. He therefore struggles to make himself indespensable. He eagerly volunteers for any mission he can. Deuce is a follower, not a leader, and his number one goal in life is to be accepted.
ABILITIES: Deuce is very capable at navigation, communications, and repairs of both sentient robots and inanimate machinery. Phoenix Corps has equipped Deuce with a jet pack which enables him to fly. He is very strong and a dangerous adversary with his heavy weaponry.
WEAKNESSES: Deuce is comparatively slow. His large size is a hindrance to his maneuverability in small areas. He sometimes questions his own abilities, despite his knowledge, because of his esteem problems.

CREATING DEUCE: I wanted to get away from the stereotypical "big guy with no brains." Deuce isn't the least bit stupid, and just because he's strong doesn't mean he's been able to force his way on others all his life.
