"We
love our family so much", says Tia. Tia
and Tamera live in San Fernando Valley in L.A. with their Mom Darlene
Mowry, their Dad Timothy Mowry, and their two brothers - Tahj and Tavior.
The family has a unique naming system which was originally invented by
their aunt Jackie. All four kids have first names starting with a T.
That's because their fathers name starts with a T. In addition they all
have middle names starting with a D - and yes you guessed it - that's from
Mother Darlene. So the complete names of the four Mowry-siblings are as
follows (in order of birth): Tamera Darvette Mowry, Tia Dashon Mowry, Tahj
Dayton Mowry (12) and Tavior Dante Mowry (4). The twins always praise their parents for all the talents they inherited. And what a good job those parents did in raising their children. The Mowry kids never did let the fame and glamor get to their heads. As any normal teenagers Tia and Tamera have chores around the house, and have scheduled times to babysit their brother Tavior. They also help their other brother Tahj with his homework.

Tahj, like his big sisters, stars in his own sitcom, called "Smart Guy". His birthday is May 17. He started working in commercials at age four. He made his TV acting debut at age seven in shows like "Who's the Boss?" and "Full House". He was a guest star on "Friends", "Out All Night", "Minor Adjustments", "Sister Sister" among others. He has also danced in videos with Michael Jackson, Prince and Mariah Carey.
