PERSONAL INFORMATION
Hi in case you don't know me, I'm Mark Wendell a senior at the Ateneo de Davao University ( the best school on the face of the earth). I am majoring in Mass Communication and hope to someday be a newscaster (preferably on ABS-CBN). Currently, I'm working at the Ateneo Computer Science Center as
an assistant. Its a lot of fun working here.

Anyways, I was raised in Tupi, South Cotabato, the coolest fruit capital of the south. I have studied both of my grade and high school in that place. I moved up in Davao City with my classmates in High School to attend college. Davao is a place of nightlife, exotic beaches and fun. There's lots of beautiful
girls and attractive landmarks you can't wait to see.

I would highly recommend you to visit my school. For that matter, if you happen to be a college student with at least one year left, I strongly suggest you transfer here! Haha! Ayways, enough talking about Davao's number one
school.

Now I'd like to tell you more about myself. I was born in Polomolok, South Cotabato and lived there for about a year before moving to Tupi, famous on it's pineapples, santol, lanzones, mango and rambutan fruits. I lived there for fifteen years. I finished my high school at the General Paulino Santos Memorial Institute in 1996. Some of my involvements during those years includes acting in the theater group, singing in one of the school's r&b band and participating in some of the oratorical contest. Isn't it cool. I will always remember those
days as some of the best in my life.

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Brown eyes and with short black hair. I am a Filipino, half Spanish and Chinese, 5'6 in height, dark complexion. I love playing soccer and basketball. I always spend my time designing homepages, chatting and surfing the internet. I like eating spaghetti, hamburger, and fries when goin out. Anyways, I could speak English,Tagalog. MY NAME IS...
Mark: As far as my grandma is concerned my name Mark was derived from the "Book Of Names" which means  warlike or defender. An  English form of MARCUS. This was also referred by my lola to Saint Mark who was the author of the second Gospel in the New Testament. He is the patron saint of Venice, where he is supposedly buried. 

The name was also chosen by my real parents for they admired the  well known writer  the American author Mark Twain who wrote 'Tom Sawyer' and 'Huckleberry Finn'. 

Wendell: This is my second name the name given by my Auntie Nita which stands for a "Wend" (Teutonic) from an Old German name. The Wends were a Slavic people living between the Elbe and the Ober. I guess, you don't know
those persons, so am I. (hehe).

PERSONALITY
I am a kind person, fast learner, sensitive to the feelings of others, who has a considerate soul, and the one who hates confrontation. I believe that the best things in life lies in our own will. Just enjoy life to the fullest. Always follow your heart but don't forget to use your head. 

INSPIRATION
Family: I am living with my grandparents since birth. They will  always be my   family and my inspiration until I die. From them, I learned much about life and people. I will always treasure all the  things that they've taught me.

Friends: Friendship is a very special thing, fragile at times, easily broken, and not so easy to mend.That is why I am so very thankful to have friends like Joseph, Michael, Michelle and company who were always there, through times of trial, happy times and hard times. These are the people who in one way or
another inspired me to become a better person.

THINGS I LIKE
Web Designing: I've been in to this activity since January of 1999. The first lesson that I've learned was manual html codings from angelfire.com until such time that I've discovered Front Page Editor and graphix softwares. Though I have no background with computer programming and web designing, I still pursued to learn it through self study. This is the result of that hardwork. I've finished this homepage last May, 1999 and was redirected at webalias networks on the same date. I was really fascinated with the internet and web designing. As of now I am learning flash 4 which is basically complex and hope to master it by the end of the month.  One thing that I could advice you when planning to create and design your own is to start learning from the basic to the more complex one. never give up. It all takes a little time and effort.

Acting: Acting is my first love. Since gradeschool I was deeply involved with many plays like Miss Saigon, Les Miserables and some other original musicals. This somehow molded me to reach my fullest potential in acting. During High School I became more involved with theatre workshops and was able to join different contest inside and outside the school. And today, as the president of Ang Teatro Ng Ateneo of Ateneo de Davao University I could say that I have already achieved the greatest opportunity in life.
