SuSE 7.1 (and previous) comes delivered with an automounter. This I found especially interresting for we use nfs at work.
Now I was also interrested in producing the equivalent for samba, but didn't find the equivalent code immediately on the web. I probably didn't look very good since it's not that hard. But I started to develloping it myself.
Above all, I want to point out that although I might be using the program myself, I do not take any responsability towards it functioning properly or even functioning at all. Use at you own risk I would say.
