Yves J, Rafael VD., Bart V. and I (Dieter D.) went visiting our friend Luk D. and his girlfriend Hillary J. at their home in Birmingham.
After an early start April 29th 03:00am, we took the Shuttle and drove to London.
In London we walked around a bit and visited Regents Park after which we bought an "Eternity" puzzle at Hamley's since Veerle T. had asked us to do so.
Following was an hour and a half of heavy traffic, leaving London, going to Birmingham.
After amazing ourselves at the largeness of the English Service Stations, we had a little snack and continued to Birmingham, where we arrived just in time to see Luk arrive at home.
We visited a watermill that's taken care of by the Tolkien-foundation. The miller there inspired J.R.R. for a character in his most famous book "Lord of the Ring".
We drove (4 hours of heavy traffic) to Stratford upon Avon. Going there, we encountered a beautifull golf court, where unfortunately they weren't prepared for _our_ handicap.
A visit to Warwick Castle is no must, but could greatly be advised.
