Originally appearing in wrestling as the "Queen of WCW", Debra is a former Miss Texas USA and Miss Illinois American champion. Debra eventually married ex-Chicago Bears Professional Football player Steve "Mongo" McMichael. When Mongo entered World Championship Wrestling (WCW), so did Debra. While in WCW, Debra was - in my opinion - misused and only there to Steve McMichael to help get him over with the fans.
After a period of time, Debra switched men and went over with Jeff Jarrett who had left the WWF only to return a short time later. A short time before the Halloween Havoc Pay-Per-View, Jeff Jarrett left WCW to return once again to the WWF. This left Debra without a man to escort to the ring. At the PPV, Debra brought her new man out to fight Mongo - Alex Wright. This also was a short-lived duo. Alex fired Debra a few weeks later and she seemed like she just disappeared from the world of wrestling all together.
Just when we thought we would never see Debra again she appears at the side of Jeff Jarrett on RAW.
Now, with her new career in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), Debra McMichael has had a chance to show us all what she can really do. What a change from her WCW days! Instead of carrying around a bouquet of flowers, wearing a long gown, and being the "Queen of the WWF", Debra has a "go out there and get it" attitude, and is now considered one of the best manager/valets that are currently active in the wrestling business.
Recently, the duo of Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart
(who of course, are managed by Debra) won the Tag Team
championships from Ken Shamrock and the Big Bossman.
This team haven't been together long and already
accomplished a goal that all tag teams want to
do…become the Tag Team Champions! Good luck to Debra,
Jeff, and Owen in the future!
