Video
This video might answer a few of your questions. Click to find out: Oops! Sorry! I could not download the video that I wanted. I linked the video from yesterday, for now, until I can get the new video downloaded. I think that they only let you download a file of a certain size. Maybe, I have to cut the video down some. In the meantime, you can click to this video. It might be of some interest to you.

Night out!
Click Britney's exposed belly button or the small camera to see my latest video. With it being time to do a few more holiday things in the New Orleans area, there is some stuff that I have been discovering in post-Katrina New Orleans: Magazine St. is a very nice location for boutiques and eateries, etc. There is also the occasion that a sexy young thing might be seen interjecting herself into the scene while you are present. The next step of this presentation might be to look over an album of some interest from the time period that we are talking about (when many citizens had evacuated). Not long after the storm, some of the photos in the current album were taken to be digested by those people interested in the condition of some of the houses. However, I am sorry that I could not download the album presently (problems with the download). That is why I decided to present the video that I produced. It is somewhat "raw" because I have not added sound yet because of some technical problems. Hopefully this video might be enjoyable until I can correct some issues!Click Brit's navel or the small camera to view a few of the things that I have been working on. I will add sound once I find my microphone. I may have lost it in the hurricane. Please enjoy the video.

In The War Zone!
I hope to take some pictures. I am in New Orleans, and every day is a new test. Unless you go to the French Quarter, St. Charles Avenue area or Metairie I don't know of any eateries open at all. In fact, just in the last couple of days have I seen any gas stations except in the areas that I mentioned. Now (just happening) I heard of one or two popping up.

What's left?
I went to New Orleans to see my house. There is nothing left to salvage. The city looks like it was hit by a bomb. It is a ghost town. There is a gray pallor over the whole horizon. There are cars now riding around a bit; but there is an emptiness that is pervasive. However, to be honest, "the destruction" is the most catching image of the scene. Also, it was sobering to think that there were still dead people lying in houses around the city.

Everywhere you looked, the houses were destroyed and devastated. They all had the same look about them. Structural zombies! Inside of my house was even a more personal, destroyed reality. You could not even walk 6 inches into the house. If the picture could be panned, you would see the real story. To be able to just scan around the rest of the block would show the twilight zone that the city is.

Katrina
Katrina has blown me to Los Angeles. My story is something to tell. I feel like I got bounced around until I landed in Los Angeles. Oh, what a ride! Word has it that the mayor in New Orleans is opening certain parts of the city. Los Angeles has been great to me. My only concern is getting back to New Orleans to see if I have anything left. I will post more info as I get time. I am still waterlogged, but happy to be alive. Just leave me a comment to this post if you want to extend some words of encouragement. God knows that I need some. Thanks!

I have completed my SCROLLS. As soon as you
get a chance, take a look at them. They are ready!
They will make you SCREAM! You will shake with
fear. It is called THE TERROR SCROLLS. Oh, yes...
BEWARE! Are you brave enough to take a look?

Rev. Ferdinand says... Dear Flock: For many years I have believed that Jesus was sent to do his work when he did because there were no electronic recording methods at the time. Jesus' spiritual message (I have always believed) was so potent and much more spi- ritual because no electronic devices existed that could have recorded him. Here's an example: Have you ever wondered how Jesus looked? The shroud of Toran (sic) is the only physical image that was left for history (and that is his blood). If the message that Jesus taught is spiritual then photographs, films, audio tapes, etc. seem to be the opposite of how he wanted to teach. Think of the miracle that it is, in and of itself, that Jesus' word has lived. His word is the greatest recorded message in the history of the world. Yet, it is just as alive and vibrant as it was when it flowed off of his tongue. That is why I think the Lord did his work before the advent of modern recording devices. I welcome you to email Rev. Ferdinand if there is a special request that you want us to put on the altar of the Lord.
