Silence blanketed the battlefield and despair hung in the very air like a vengeful wraith. My comrades had fallen silent as our fear seemed to take a life of its own. My own hands were beginning to sweat as unearthly anticipation coursed through my veins. Nervously, I shifted my battered longsword to my other hand to wipe my bloody brow. A few months ago, victory had seemed unevitable, as our armies had had swept across Ansalon like a raging bonfire, defeating all in its path. Now, a new enemy loomed in the near horizon. An enemy that rivaled, if not paled, the might of our own Queen. Numbly, I traced the death lily on my talbard. Submit or die. I looked up at the vague heavens, and prayed for some sign of relief, for some sign of victory to ease my fear-ridden soul. My Queen did not answer back. A shout shook me out of my reverie, as the enemy approached. I looked upon them, and blanched. They were a tidal wave of monstrosities. A wave of chaos sweeping down around around us, threatening to engulf our once mighty army. Their hideous fangs, and razor sharp claws tore into the brute infantry, and bore down around me. All around me, my friends, my comrades, and my brothers were cut down. Blood flew like rain and tainted my armor. My prayers fell flat and unheeded. As my friends were dying, I forgot them. All of the glory we had shared, all of the truimph we had received all vanished amidst a hideous laughter. And so amid the sea of chaos, lost in the ocean of death, I drew my sword. There were no more gods, and there was no more hope. There was only the Chaos. So I kissed the hilt of my father's sword, and allowed my bitter tears to touch the blade, before I charged in, to be erased from the annals of time. -Author unknown The Battle at the High Clerists Tower |

SA Fear aura, alteration, and drain Spirit |
Tha Chaos Abomination is a despicable creature that was created after the battle of the Rift. As Chaos departed from Krynn, his anger spewed in hot flames. Where these flames touched Krynn, a Chaos Abomination sprung up.
Chaos Abominations are writhing masses of Chaos, given solid form. Like Daemon Warriors, they look differently according to the viewer. However, a Chaos Abomination has no tangible state, instead existing as a shifting, chaostic protoplasmic monstronsity.
A Chaos Abomination gives off a fear aura. It's touch drains a persons Spirit. Also, every Chaos Abomination can work Alteration magic to affect its prey.
Chaos Abominations are usually alone, although they can be found in the company of several Daemon Warriors. Chaos Abominations split in half when they have absorbed a sufficient amount of Spirit points (about fifteen). Each acts as normal Chaos Abomination, and they seperate to look for new victims.

SA Nullify, despair, necromancy, regeneration, and pyromancy |
When Chaos was forced to leave Krynn, he decided to leave a gift. He broke off chunks of himself, and cast them down to the world of Krynn. These Chaos Avatars are truly avatars of Chaos. They can never be killed, only incapacitated.
Their touch causes all living things to vanish from existence, as well as people's memories. Their very sight causes one to slump in despair. They control fire and seem to control death as well. There are only four such beings on Krynn. They are currently inactive, staying in hiding while amassing large armies of fire dragons and Daemon Warriors.
These large creatures are 14' tall, and composed of flame and magma. Horns and claws adorn the monstrosity. Huge wings of flame allow a Chaos Avatar to take to the skies. While basically in a humanoid form, Chaos Avatars may have strange appearances, such as extra arms, a third eyes, a forked tail, etc.

SA All schools of sorcery and immune to physical attack |
Chaos Warlocks, like Chaos Fiends, were once Daemon Warriors. However, their great hatred twisted them, granting them powers beyond a normal minion of chaos. These hideous creaures fight with Daemon Warrios, and often command them.
Chaos Warlocks are always dressed in robes, although the nature of the robes is not always the same. Most are black, with macrabe stylings. Chaos Warlocks themselves are horrible to look at, as they are twisted, malformed beings. Their gnarled, knobbed bodies sport strange features, such as extra arms, tentacles, or jaws.
Chaos Warlocks command every school of sorcery available. This makes a Chaos Warlock formidable indeed, as a Chaos Warlock cannot beharmed by conventional weaponry. A Chaos Warlock disdains physical combat, prefering to use sorcery to deal with its enemies.

SA Dragonawe, dragonbreath, and dragon dive |
Fire dragons were created by Chaos in mockery of true dragons. Fire dragons appear to be made of magma and obsidian. A fire dragon can breathe out a large cloud of sulphurous vapor that chokes and burns anything in its path. When aflight, a fire dragon drops fiery embers, which scorches everything in its path.
Fire dragons sometimes serve as the mounts for Daemon Warriors, although it isn't uncoomon to see a Chaos Warlock, or Chaos Avatar on the back of a Fire dragon. Fire dragons are born from eggs, just like real dragons, and mature just like real dragons. Therefore, a Fire dragon with the statistics of any age category can be found.

A frost wight appears to be a swirling cloud of frost and ice roughly the size of a human. They live in the arctic regions of Krynn. A frost wight will assume the appearance of its victim, and use its nullification attack on its victim. A touch from a frost wight will wipe all traces of a person from existence.
Frost wights are immune to all cold-based attacks, and can even command the school of cryomancy. Ordinary weapons cause no damage to a frost wight. Fire inflicts double damage to a frost wight. Even the mere presence of a candle renders it unable to attack.
