History: The de Pons are a little known nobility that started from nothing after the chaos wars and built up a merchant empire of great, yet little known, influence. Leffer de Pon was the youngest son, thus he set out to make a fortune. The young man traveled through the continent and eventually studied at the Academy of Sorcery where he asked to learn to fly, gain a familiar, and, after a mishap, how to protect himself. After his training was complete he traveled to the Citdel of Light he had heared about at the Academy. Once there he learned that he enjoyed healing and spirituilism thus he decided to study necromancy on his own time even though he knew it was forbidden. While studing at the Citadel he made contacts in with the Legion of Steel and decided to mecome a member. The Legion taught him fighting tactics and he went on his way. Eventually he met with some Qualinesti elves who taught him to fire a bow and eventually he saved the group from a maurading minor dragon with an elvish long sword called Kun-Las. The elves thanked him and gave him Elvish Chain Mail. Leffer then returend home to his family to find his brothers had become Knights of Solamnia and is forced to hide his allience to the Legion of Steel. He has since left his home again and is now adventuring once again.

Appearance: Leffer de Pon is a large man with a strong build and an even stronger mind. He has a notible scar across the back of his neck from a close shave with a minor dragon. Though he tries to listen to everyone in a discusion he generally wants this done his way. Other than that flaw he is pretty socialable and a brillant man at getting others to seeing things his way.
