Minneapolis and Hennepin County Maps

We offer a reproduction of the 1867 BIRD'S EYE VIEW OF MINNEAPOLIS AND ST. ANTHONY FALLS. This is a very detailed map of these cities (separate until 1873) two years after the Civil War, less than a decade after statehood. This view shows every house and building in the cities drawn to scale as seen from approximately 2,000 feet above the cities. There are the usual steamboats on the river, the streets are labeled, the first bridges and the University are easily identified. Here is an online example of a Bird's Eye View map of Stillwater by Albert Ruger. For more information on ordering any of our Bird's Eye View maps, click here.

We have a reprint of the 1867 ST. ANTHONY TOWNSHIP map. Like the other maps from the Bennett Atlas, this shows the original geography: wetlands, streams, houses, blufflines. $9.95 includes postage and sales tax. Add $2.00 for lamination. For more information, send for our township flyer. Here is an online version of the Reserve Township Map. For ordering information, click here.

Property owners, and some geographic detail is given. Individual structures are sometimes indicated. Color copies are $14.95 including postage and sales tax. Call for more detail.

These atlases vividly depict the Twin Cities neighborhoods of the day; every house, out-building, business, street, public stairway, railroad. Every detail is outlined to scale in a color code.
