We offer a reproduction of the 1867 BIRD'S EYE VIEW OF MINNEAPOLIS AND ST. ANTHONY FALLS. This is a very detailed map of these cities (separate until 1873) two years after the Civil War, less than a decade after statehood. This view shows every house and building in the cities drawn to scale as seen from approximately 2,000 feet above the cities. There are the usual steamboats on the river, the streets are labeled, the first bridges and the University are easily identified.
