ANY THOUGHTS ON 90's MUSIC?:" Sure. It's sad. Really, don't you think? When I first came to radio in the early 90's, it was all about Nirvana and who could be the most apathetic. Now-a-days it seems music 'categories' are all a blur. That's one reason I started the IECA. Like pretty much anyone else, I really dig my generation's music and want to encourage like-minded people."
WHAT DO YOU DO ANYWAY? "Sheez. Too much! I'm a Producer, a drummer, and a business woman. C'mere little boy...I have a record or two for ya! hahaha"
SPEAKING OF RECORDS, DO YOU THINK VINYL WILL BE AROUND FOR A WHILE?"Actually, yes. There are a lot of die-hards who refuse to let go of their wax. I can't imagine the same could have been said about the 8-track. Besides, we're getting old and trying to read the cd liners are a bitch!"
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ALL OF THE RECENT "REUNION" TOURS? "Fabulous! I get to see and meet my teen heroes. However, some have become bitter about their diminishing fame. Like the Human League. They actually admitted they were on the Culture Club tour for the money. Which is not totally outrageous but it just set wrong with me. It's all about the art, maaaan!"
WHAT'S THAT TATTOO ON YOUR LEG? "Ha! That's my ode to Duran Duran. It's great working with you guys because we all share the obsession of the Fab Five (well, now the fab TWO!). YOU should know that, Mr.Ithinkjohntaylorisgod Matt! How wonderfully cheesy. This is actually the '7 & The Ragged Tiger' 7's symbol.
