The Children of Ulthuan VS The Eagleclefts [Chance Encounter]
Everyone knows of the intense rivalry between the Elves and Dwarves of the Old World. It has lead to wars and endless fueds. This chance encounter was no different. The Children of Ulthuan were scouting around for treasure after defeating some pitiful undead. The Eagleclefts had been on the run since they narrowly broken through the Icewolves's defenses and were also hungry for funds. The two forces clashed and a hail of projectiles blackened the sky. What the elves didn't realize is that these dwarves are far better shots than the average squatbody! The mysterious elfmaid and her bethrothed swordsmaster didn't realize how far the Engineer's range was until they had to duck for cover! In the end, the elves fled and the Eagleclefts greedily helped themselves to three glowing shards of warpstone.
WINNER: The Eagleclefts, by opponent failing a rout.
Order of the Ten Templars VS The Dantears [Occupy]
The Dantears were again looking for a weakened warband to prey upon. They hoped they would actually defeat an opponent for a change. But even in their weakened state, the Templars showed they weren't ready to give up. The ran ahead swiftly, with Danziger Wolfsblut sprinting ahead of the rest of the Witch Hunters. The fighting was minimal and Sigmar had protected his flock. The Templars held their buildings and the Dantears accepted defeat again.
WINNER: Order of the Ten Templars, by completing scenario objective
Order of the Ten Templars VS The Children of Ulthuan [Wyrdstone Hunt]
Two shards of glowing wyrdstone shone from the rooftop of the crumbled building that lay between the two forces. Danziger Wolfsblut scouted ahead while the pointy-eared archers dug in, awaiting a Witch Hunter frontal assualt. Learning from their encounter with the Eagleclefts, Danziger snatched up both shards, ducking an arrow or two, then ran at full speed back to camp! The Flagellents known as the Grey Martyrs rushed towards the archers while Hopkins, Von Blutbaden, and newly recruited Brother Niebelung ran to protect Danziger. All three flagellents, Baldy, Garrison, and Oldschool, took many arrows before finally falling. Sigmar smiled on their heroism and none of them were harmed permanently. In fact, Oldschool was able to inflict a sucking chest wound on a Rangerlord before dropping. The fight was not won by the Witch Hunters, but the riches were. This was more about rebuilding the warband than defeating the Children of Ulthuan.
WINNER: The Children of Ulthuan, by oponent voluntarily routing
The Dementors VS The Icewolves [Breakthrough]
This was a situation the Icewolves knew all too well. The had to defend against the Dementors from breaking through their defenses again. The Dementors had proved themselves to be the most fearsome warband this side of the River Stir after they way they handled the Templars in their last outing. But it apeared Ulric had smiled on his followers this day. The Icewolves had finally organized themselves into a tighter, more effective force and concentrated fire on specific oponents while using halberds to full potential in melee. The Dementors were starting to take more damage than they could dish out. It became apparent that their best option was actually to run. The Icewolves now have bragging rights over the defeat of the undefeatable Possessed Cult. El Duce, with a heavy heart, burried Baphomet the Beastman at the foot of the Altar of Evil near the Gargoyle Gate. It goes without saying that the Dementors seek retribution.
WINNER: The Icewolves, by oponent voluntarily routing
