Arthur Meets The President
I just read a great Arthur book by Marc Brown. It is called Arthur Meets the President. In this story Arthur gets to meet the President because he wrote an essay better than any one else. He is very excited about getting picked and getting to go to Washington, D.C. to meet him. Then he gets very scared about what he is going to say. He thinks he is goin to forget what he is going to say. So he writes it down and then it gets lost. Then D.W. tries to help.
If you want to know how it ends go read it! I liked it a lot and so won't you. I think Arthur feels just like we do sometimes.
