JW’s believe Jesus is not considered to be Eternal God, Creator of the universe or our Great High Priest. They deny the physical resurrection of Jesus. They believe He was recreated by God into an immortal angel. In other words, He was Michael, recreated into Jesus the mortal man, and recreated into an improved Michael. Thus Jesus no longer exists: Russell: "the man Jesus is dead, forever dead". They also believe that Jesus was born again at His baptism and if Jesus failed He would have been annihilated/extinct.

Biblical Christianity knows that He is not and was not Michael the archangel, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and yes, forever. Hebrews 13:8. The idea for you is to prove that God is One but reveals Himself in three persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. One Hebrew word for God is Elohim and is rendered in a plurality. You will find examples in Genesis 1:1 and Deuteronomy 6:4.

The Trinity Doctrine in the Bible

Who raised Jesus from the dead? The Father (Romans 6:4, Acts 3:26; 1 Thessalonians 1:10)? The Son (John 2:19-21; 10:17-18? The Holy Spirit (Romans 8:11)? Or God (Hebrews 13:20; Acts 13:30; 17:31)?

Who does the Bible say is God? The Father (Ephesians 4:6)? The Son (Titus 2:13, John 1:1; John 20:28)? The Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3,4)? God (Deuteronomy 4:35)?

Who speaks? The Father (Matthew 3:17). The Son (John 3:16-18) The Holy Spirit (Acts 8:29) or God (Exodus 20:1-17).

Who created the world? The Father (John 14:2)? The Son (Colossians 1:16-17; John 1:1-3)? The Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:2; Psalm 104:30)? Or God (Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 11:3)?

Who saves man? The Father (1 Peter 1:3)? The Son (John 5:21;4:14)? The Holy Spirit (John 3:6; Titus 3:5)? Or God (1 John 3:9)?

Who Justifies Man? The Father (Jeremiah 23:6)? The Son (Romans 5:9)? The Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:11; Galatians 5:5)? Or God (Romans 4:6; 9:33)?

Who sanctifies man? The Father (Jude 1)? The Son (Titus 2:14)? The Holy Spirit (1 Peter 1:2)? Or God (Exodus 31:13)?

Who propitiated God’s just anger against man for his sins? The Father( 1 John 4:14; John 3:16; 15:5; 18:11)? The Son (Matthew 26:28; John 1:29; 1 John 2:2)? The Holy Spirit (Hebrews 9:14)? Or God (2 Corinthians 5:1; Acts 20:28)?

The Diety of Jesus

Lord: This is His divine name, Jesus is His human name and Christ is His official title.

The Hebrew words Elohim, Jehovah and Adonai are all rendered Lord in the Greek New Testament. These primary names of God in the Old Testament are rendered in New Testament Greek: Kurios. Compare Matthew 1:23 with Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 4:7 with Deuteronomy 6:16, Mark 5:19 with Psalm 66:16 and Psalm 110:1 with Matthew 22:42-45.

Jesus is called God: John 1:1, 20, 20:28, Philippians 2:6,11, Colossians 2:8-9, Titus 2:13, Hebrews 1:3, 8 Unfortunately the NWT translates John 1:1 the Word was a god. This is, they say because the definite article is used with the word Theon or God in the first reference to God. However if that was the case in the first chapter of John alone the (a) would have to be added to verses 1:6, 12, 13, 18.

John 1:1 -- the subject of the sentence is "Word", the verb "was". There can be no direct object (a different noun) following 'was' according to grammatical usage but takes instead predicate nominatives (a word that refers back to the original subject).

Isaiah 7:14 Jesus is called "Immanuel" God is with us.

Isaiah 9:6 Jesus is called God Almighty. The Hebrew word for God Almighty is El Shaddai and this is directly affirmed to Jesus.

Isaiah 44:6 "And His Redeemer the Lord of Host" spoke of Jesus. The Hebrew word Lord of Hosts is Jehovah Sabaoth.

Isaiah 41:14 This same Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 43:3 "I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior". This Redeemer is Jehovah Elohim or Jehovah God our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.

Exodus 3:14, Isaiah 43:10-11 and John 8:58 Jesus is the Great I AM or Jehovah. He is saying I always was "Ego Eimi", that is why they tried to stone Him. Unfortunately the NWT translates this as "I have been". This is an incorrect translation in that a perfect indefinite tense has never been used in the Greek language.

Exodus 3:14. "And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM, and He said, tell them I Am has sent me to you.

The word I AM is YHWH or Yahweh and is also rendered Jehovah. It can be found over 6000 times in the Bible.

Now, John 8:58 "Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM." Jesus is Jehovah.

The name of Jesus above all other names. Philippians 2:10

Sanctified in the name of Jesus: Hebrews 10:10; 14

Forgiveness through the name of Jesus: Luke 24:47; Acts 10:43; 13:38

Salvation in the name of Jesus: Matthew 1:21; Acts 4:12; 1 Timothy 2:5, Romans 10:13

Men are healed in the name of Jesus Acts 3:6,16; 4:10

Baptism in the name of Jesus Acts 2:38; 5:31; 8:16

Believers who teach and preach in the name of Jesus: Luke 24:25-27; 4:18; 5:28

Speaking in the name of Jesus Acts 4:13; 17; 9:27, 29

Suffering for the name of Jesus Acts 9:16; 2 Corinthians 11:23-27.

Proclaiming Jesus to the nations Acts 9:15; Romans 1:5;

Opposing the name of Jesus John 9:22; 34; Acts 16:2; 3 John 10

Called by the name of Jesus Acts 11:26; 1 Peter 4:16

Compare the Old Testament to the New Testament:

Isaiah 45:22-23 "Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I AM God, and there is no other, I have sworn by Myself, the words have gone forth from my mouth in righteousness and will not turn back, That to me every knee will bow, and every tongue will swear allegiance." NASB

Philippians 2:10-11 "That at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." NASB

The JW's will also say that the Jews tried to stone Jesus not because He claimed to be God but that He called them children of the devil (John 8:44). This is yet another error because the Law called for a stoning for five reasons: Familiar Spirits-Leviticus 20:23; Blasphemy- Leviticus 24:10-23; False Prophets-Deuteronomy 13:5-10: Stubborn Son-Deuteronomy 21:18-21; Adultery and Rape-Deuteronomy 22:21-24.

Jesus received human worship: Matthew 14:33, 28:9, John 5:23, 9:38, 20:28, 29. The greatest of ordinary men and angels refused worship: Acts 10:25, 26, Revelation 19:10, 22:8, 9.

Jesus forgave sins: Mark 2:5-7, Luke 7:48-50, displayed omnipotent powers: Luke 8:24, 9:16, 17, John 2:9, 6:19, displayed omniscience: John 11:11-14, and He asserted His omnipresence: John 3:13, Matthew 28:20, raised the dead John 5:25, and judges John 5:27.

He is the creator of all things: Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-4, Colossians 1:16. Colossians 1:15 says Jesus is the first born of all creation. The Greek word used is prototokos which means He holds the same relation to creation as the Father (John 10:30, 38,14:10-11) and without Him there could be no creation. You will never find the word ktistheis or kitzo which would refer to created or having been created.

Some will say that Jesus’ reference as the "only begotten Son"( John 3:16) takes away from His Deity. The words "only begotten" do not mean the Jesus was created. The Greek word used for begotten is Monogenes and is used by John to describe the relation of Jesus to the Father. In this case Jesus is the Unique One, or one of a kind.

Who is the Alpha and Omega? The First and the Last, The Beginning and the End? (Isaiah 44:6; 48:12) (Revelation 1:8; 21:6; 22:13: 1:17-18). The Idea with these verses is to have them admit that the Father is the First and the Last and God in Isaiah 44:6. Take them through Revelation where Jesus is addressing Himself in these verses. The last verses to use are Revelation 1:17-18 where Jesus says I Am (Ego Eimi) the First and the Last.

Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and His redeemer the LORD of hosts; I AM the first, and I AM the last; and beside me there is no God

Isaiah 48:12 Hearken unto Me, O Jacob and Israel, My called; I AM He; I AM the first, I AM the last.

Revelation 1:8 I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Revelation 21:6 And He said unto me, It is done. I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Revelation 22:13 I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Revelation1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I AM the first and the last.

Revelation 1:18 I AM He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

In verse 44:6 note that Jesus is called the Lord of Hosts. Translation: Jehovah Sabaoth

In reference to Son of God

In the Old Testament "sons of the prophets" meant of the order of the prophets (1 Kings 20:35). Sons of the singers meant "of the order of the singers" (Nehemiah 12:28). The name Son of God means "of the order of God". This is a direct relation to the Deity of Christ.

Colossians 2:8-10 "See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. For in Him the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority." NASB

Muhammed was an orphan who was adopted. He had a disorder that his mom likened to demon possession. His dad was a traveler and this helped Muhammed have a lot of contact with Christians and Jews. He wrote the Koran (additional book to the Bible) after a vision from Gabriel. Islam is a works-based religion that teaches that Jesus wasn't God, and that He didn't die. They have a common bond with the Roman Catholic church in that they came through Abraham, pray a rosary and have a service for the dead.

Buddah means enlightened one. As a child he lived a wealthy life. He got married, had a child and left them to be enlightened. He lived on a diet of 1 grain of rice per day and even ate his own excrement. There is believed to be no heaven, hell or sin. The goal is to go through eight steps to reach nirvana. Nirvana means "blow out" in which all your desires are taken away.

Gandhi was Indian nationalist and Hindu spiritualist leader. The Hindu spiritual book is the Vedas "wise sayings" They worship 33 million gods.
