Heaven: The Jehovah’s Witnesses believe eternity will be divided into three groups:

1. Heaven is reserved for the 144,00 in Revelation 7:4-8, 14:1-3. The Jehovah’s Witnesses believe they will be the governing body and will be recreated like Jesus supposedly was. These verses clearly refer to the twelve tribes of Israel. How they can believe that only 144,000 will get to heaven is beyond me.

2. The rest of the JW's or "other sheep" (I thought this was the Mormons?) will stay on earth. God will recreate their physical bodies. They will often quote to you Matthew 5:5 "the meek will inherit the earth". You can quote to them Matthew 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" or Matthew 5:10 "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of unrighteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven". I say that I must be poor in spirit or persecuted for the sake of unrighteousness cause I'm going to heaven.

3. The other JW's who live a good life. Romans 3:23

Some references to heaven: Matthew 13:45, 18:1, John 14:2, Philippians 3:20, 1 Thessalonians 4:17, 1 Peter 1:4, Revelation 2:7

Hell: They believe in "soul sleeping" that you die and lie in you grave until the resurrection. They believe that the soul is part of the body, and when you die that's it. Only the faithful will be resurrected and recreated. The unfaithful will cease to exist or be annihilated.

Genesis 35:18 clearly speaks of the soul departing the body.

1 Samuel 28:10-19 Saul uses a median to call up Samuel who is dead.

Matthew 17:1-3 Moses and Elijah are standing with Jesus.

Luke 23:43 Jesus says "today you will be with me in paradise".

The Bible speaks of eternal punishment: Matthew 8:11-12, 13:42, 50, 22:13, Luke 13:24-28, 16:19-31, 2 Peter 2:17, Jude 13, Revelation 14:9-11, 20:15.

The Bible does not speak of annihilation.

In Revelation 19:20, The beast and the prophet are thrown alive into the lake of fire.

In Revelation 20:10, 1000 years later, they are still there.

Satan: The Jehovah Witnesses believe he is evil and does exist. However they argue that because of Ezekiel 28:19 "And you will be no more" that he is annihilated. The rendering of the verse is "to fail or be gone". See Revelation 20:10
