BIOPSYCHOLOGY - THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM

this past year i took a biopsychology course at Trent called "Principles of the Nervous System". it turned out to be one of the most challenging courses i have ever taken. i had a wonderful opportunity, having Gordon Winocur (University of Toronto) as a professor. he is right up there at the top of his field in research on memory.

in this course we studied various aspects of brain function and behaviour. the links below will lead to sites with lots more info on biopsychology and how the brain works. there is also a link to my essay on how the study of the brain can help increase our understanding of emotion, behaviour and certain disorders.
