I can't wait to have this book!
Meanwhile, in France, a new book has just been edited : http://www.amazon.fr/Lombre-dun-doute-contemporain-trompes-loeil/dp/2753518181 (translation: "Shadow of a doubt: Contemporary american cinema and its trompe l'oeil"). I haven't read it yet but it appears that the author talks about these movies: Vanilla Sky, Barton Fink, Totall Recall, The Matrix, Fight Club, Usual Suspects and... Body Double! The book is approximately 200 pages long and deals with reality and illusion in contemporary american cinema. Lots of exemple using Body Double from what I've seen. Worth checking out for those who know french...
