talking of dvd releases why not release the 3 hour director's cut of THE BLACK DAHLIA from Universal? Universal is making a big mistake in not releasing the 3 hour film that James Ellroy calls a masterpiece!! DePalma says he has final cut on his films but I find that hard to believe when 50 minutes of footage was taken out by the studio and ruined DePalma's film!!
There's been a lot of 3 hour films that have been extremely successful!!

Clearly, there is a conspiracy against De Palma's posters/covers recently. After the intern mockup that was mistaken for an official "The Black Dahlia" poster, the literal "Redacted" compositions and further variations of a bad "Passion" poster, what else can we expect?
Oh well, I guess the first thing to do after seeing this film will be firing up Photoshop... with passion.
Regards.
