DePalma with PASSION thinks he's made an art-house film of the type of thrillers he did in the 70's, 80's and culminating with RAISING CAIN and FEMME FATALE. PASSION seems like a lazy interim film before DePalma can get his hands on solid material once again.
I miss the director of CARRIE, THE FURY, BLOW OUT, SCARFACE etc. Here's hoping that DePalma gets to make THE DEMOLISHED MAN?

Err, I think the movie is deliberately meant to be confusing! Every critic is entitled to their opinions, but the most pretentious thing about this tweet is that he's effectively saying "I don't like the film, so how can anyone else"?!

Yes, not to sound "arrogant" haha, but I love PASSION, and don't find it lazy at all.
Another interesting thing is that just a couple of weeks ago, the Rotten Tomatoes "score" was at 25%, so it's going up, and there are still only 20 critics' reviews listed. So there are many more reviews to come (probably when it opens on the big screen in less than two weeks).
