Brian De Palma is a desperate cringe-inducing Hitchockian trickster rip-off. He constructs scenes as opposed to cohesive story-telling. Carrie is the most over-rated Horror film of all time. Dressed To Kill is a sad rip-off of Psycho. Blow Out is a nonsensical rip-off of The Conversation and Blow-Up.
Scarface is an unmitigated disaster of excess and downright laughable. Body Double is just OK. The Bonfire movie is another cartoon mitigated disaster. Mission:Impossible is absolutely forgettable. Snake Eyes is also just OK. Mission To Mars is an empty affair that has nothing to say. Femme Fattle is stepping into cliche visuals of dog manure. Femme Fatale make Verhoevens Showgirls seem like a master-class of film-making. The Black Dahlia has teens playing hard-boiled characters. Redacted is pretensious dog-shit. Passion is a film-maker at the bottom of his game, with a story that no one cares about. De Palma is a fraudster.

I strongly disagree with most everything you say here. De Palma is a visual stylist whose films cohere in magnificent designs of visual storytelling. Dressed To Kill has so much more going on within its frames than mere echoes of Psycho, just as Blow Out is a much different film than either Blow-Up or The Conversation. Femme Fatale transcends cliches with imaginative visuals and daring panache. Carrie sustains suspense in imaginative ways for 90 minutes, one of cinema's great works of art. I could go on, of course.
