Absolute brilliant eye for details, how he design every shot to be a an immortal statement without words. I have always said it, Blow Out is his Citizen Caine, a landmark achievement in movie making.
I just showed it to my children, 10 and 11 years old, and explained to them the techniques he used. They now realize when they watch other movies, what maked BDP different, they tell me DP would have made this shot better in that persepective.
