HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN DE PALMA!!!!
in celebration of the master's birthday, I sat down for a viewing of "SISTERS" earlier today (I live in Australia so it's been September 11 for awhile now), and loved it as usual. I still think it's the best use of split-screen I have ever seen in a movie.
It also made me a little sad that we likely will never get another De Palma film, which I feel I've made peace with, but watching his genius just reminds you of what could have been.
