SOLITUDE WITHIN


Deep within my head, my mind
screams
As I lie in bed, with only shattered
dreams
Fallen to bad times, my life is so 
perplexed
Paying for my crimes, tell me what’s
next
Trying to leave the past, to start all
new
To be free at last, time to change the
view
So feel my wrath, as I better my
being
No need to chaff, try to see what I’m
seeing
As I am locked down, I know life
goes on
Make a smile from a frown, till the pain
is gone.

free air,
Look forward to the day I can

I embrace the fact that my
solitude will end,
Right now I escape with all
the letters I send.

Awake, lying still amongst pain and cold sweat.
Visions of memories dance vigorously in the mind.
Loneliness strolls hand in hand with the soul.
Emptiness embraces the heart
Shackled to the pains of gloom.
Escape is non-existent, no way rejects someway.
Bound, destined to wither in the coldness of neglect.
Tearing endlessly at the subconscious, discarding rest.




 

QUEEN OF HEARTS
 

I draw from the deck the queen of 
hears
to show how I feel now that we
are apart
I send it to you with this letter of 
Love
You were brought to me, heaven sent 
from above
Keep it close to your heart to be some
security
Our love is so strong constantly
drowning in purity
Once this card is returned to the
pile
Once again, I’ll be with you, basking
in your smile.

What is the meaning of Love
sent down from heaven above
filled with affection and caring
all about togetherness and sharing

Brought forth on the wings of a dove
what is the meaning of Love
giving attention and spending time
an unspoken trust so divine

No matter what throughout the years
Love is there to wipe away tears
what is the meaning of Love
always there when pain came to shove

Happiness and joy appear in a smile
hoping this is forever, not just awhile
answering this question can be tough

Thinking of how we used to be
wishing you weren’t so far from me

Looking forward to brighter days

As time goes by it tears my heart
