Special Thanx
Whoa.... this is page is a lot of work. And it deserves a buttload of thanks to a lot of good people who helped directly or indirectly. So this is the page where those folks get what they deserve; my gratitude and thanks.
Family
- Mom and Dad: For giving me the chance to live out my dreams instead of shuffling me into what was "acceptable."
- My Big Sis: For being there when I needed her, even if she is a pain.
- Aunt Tove, Uncle Jim, and my Cousins, Mike and Jamie: For being my family away from family and putting up with me for as long as they have.
- My Grandparents: For busting my butt to do everything I was humanly capable of.
- My Grandmother Hopkins (1908-1998): For letting me use her typewiter to write all those stories.
Teachers
- Bill Martone, Denine Harper, Hayz, Mark Short, Dana Gullo : For never excepting anything but my best work and pushing me hard to do better. Thanks for keeping the fires stoked.
- Kathyrn Phelps: For setting the record straight and watching after us damned art kids.
- Richard Sharpe: For being the better of the art teachers I had at William Penn. They'll never get better than you.
- Tom Alderson, Steve Breffit: For teaching me the meaning of perfection, one lesson at a time.
- Andrea LaCombe / Madame Letson: Even if I wasn't the best French student there was, you still encouraged the artistic side of me with your lessons. Surrealism rules!
- Joel Schlichter: For teaching me how to write a damn good paper. Straight A's in all academics at the Art Institute, largely due to your instruction.
Fellow AIPH Alumni
- Corrine Williams: For all of the traditional sessions in my cramped studio apartment. Without someone to work with, I would have gone insane.
- John "Little Johnnie" Scullin: For all of the weird adventures and ideas spawned upon our two year journey in Art Exile. Without someone to play with, I would have gone insane.
- Joe Camastra: For being around at the Park Towne Apts. and hooking me up with the right people to get started in the business. Kudos.
- Abdul Brown: For taking me over to the dark side; computer animation. Thanks for all the tips. I can't thank you enough.
- Marc McKensie: For being there to hang with. I'm more than happy to listen to you rant. Hope we rant again soon.
- Greg Gooch: Thanx go to Gooch for teaching me stuff that wasn't covered in 'The Great One's' classes. Couldn't have learned this stuff without you.
Friends From Home
or The Reason I Am Why I Am Today...
- Nicholas Leamy: For 15 years of friendship and good times to prove it.
- Jamie Price: For the mixed blessing of showing me how to code HTML (make it stop!)
- Jeff Evans: For bringing the voice of reason and 10+ dice pools to otherwise sane games. NO MORE CYBERTORSOS.
- Tina Hartman: For being as cool as you are. Bring on more Anime!
- Stacy Vuccola: For the cows! Long live the cows!
- John Maxwell: Giving me the crazy idea that I might actually make money off of my art work.
Roleplaying Groups
- The Roleplaying Club (Delaware 89-96): For Friday nights well spent with friends so close to me.
- The Roleplaying Club (University of DE 96-98): The days few and far between that we kicked evil, horror butt. Harlequin owes us...
- Philly's Phinest (Little Johnny, West and Corrine): For doing all the crazy stuff in campaigns that even MY old group wouldn't do and being some of the best friends I've ever had.
- The Nightshift (Hope, Nick, The Other White Nick, Jeff, Wes, Erik, Tina, Matt and Dad): Without the masquerade sunday sessions, there'd be no Nightshift webpage. Rock on in the final Nights.
